Not wanting to rain upon anyone's parade here, but I've long presumed the ANGS SP won't do anything dramatic until there's far greater clarity on when consistent gas production will be achieved and what consistent volumes will be produced.
On top of that, with regard to the recent revelation of the actual hedged volumes by month over the 36 month hedged period, you can now add visibility of what positive effect the planned and without a doubt essential sidetrack delivers to that short list. Let's hope it's successful, eh?
Yes, that is what I believe, too :-)
Ocelot, is the calm before the storm …
remarkably quiet: 11 trades, average size about 30,000 shares.
1.53p brilliant average
Let the small traders sell
Bags await
Crocqman, fingers crossed we will see an increase in announcements from Angus from next month when equipment starts to arrive, assuming they can receive it and install it without EA approval - we will find out soon, there is an IQ on this.
Btw, your 1.53 average is very good, mine is 1.97 a bit higher. Hopefully by January we will both be in profit. GLA.
Yanis,
I will be more than happy to throw my full support behind Angus again on SFB once I see them sticking to deadlines and see real on-site progress and more regular comms over the coming months leading to an on-time delivery (before end Q1).
I am in the process of completing a house sale, and will certainly back up any increased conviction with additional investment in the run up to SFB, assuming any potential re-rate has not already happened.
Still sat with a 1.53 average, so the potential to reduce this further before year end would be great.

Speaking of Twitter, I think we all know who is the messenger.
I know Crocqman, but lets not keep knocking down everything that they do. We seem to be constantly criticising, I think they deserve a break now until SFB is over one way or another.
Positive sentiment is returning now, lets rejoice on that. God knows, me personally after circa 5 years I need this. I finally see a chance to turn a huge loss in to a profit.
Maybe Yanis.
But still, it is meant to be an IQ forum, not a back-slapping exercise, there is twitter for congratulating the company, and if there is no question it should not be published.
Wouldn't you rather see your question about Director dealing put up there than this?
Crocqman, your last paragraph, I would not call that “Bizarre” … I would call it good PR.
Perhaps "Angus is becoming/planning to become a senior player in this market" would have been more appropriate, agreed.
"Angus is a senior player in this market and its importance is more than significant"
I think Malcy is getting ahead of himself.
We need to be actually producing before we can consider ourselves to be even a player in this market.
We then need to be producing at the quantities estimated before judgement can be made as to whether Angus is a 'senior player'
It is ALL about delivery here, nothing else.
Another 4 IQ's added yesterday. Plenty of answers due at month end which will be interesting, plus EA approval pending, and defined and detailed timetable for both the side-track and commissioning schedule to be released in November.
A big couple of months coming up for ANGS, can see some more positive sentiment returning from the increase in posting here, but still to be reflected in a rise in volumes and an SP move which will come with news and sticking to schedules.
Just to add, it seems odd that they have an IQ which is more a congratulatory statement from an individual who claims they could increase their holding to a notifiable level. Not a question at all, so why would they include this in the IQ's? Bizarre
Malcy as ever showing that he's no more than a gushing sycophant for hire.
'canny hedging'? Any 'canny' investors selling £10 notes for £3.50?
Revenues are going to be considerably more substantial and with canny hedging and treatment of costs will provide substantial profit given the forward curve and the change in the gas market that has happened recently and in my view is a long term thing. George Lucan comments on domestic gas supply and Angus is a senior player in this market and its importance is more than significant, it should be observed by Government as a leading company who can deliver gas for the United Kingdom. (from Malcy's comments)
Ah Tonn it was you!!!
So it’s been a while since I held angs, but top sliced Ben this morning and loaded a couple of million, sentiment is changing finally on angs imho, ride up beginning.
So would I, but seems that some people here are commenting on Angus as if Angus is a major (as you said like Centrica). There is money to be made here not just for Angus but for shareholders too, roll on EA to trigger this off.
Hi Yanis. I would be happy for Angus to eventually make £300m with all the assets.
Spot on BV. Making money is the name of the game. We are not looking at making billions of pounds, a few million e will do :)
If we make money that's fine, but i agree we are not exactly Centrica!

'As Malky said today “Angus is a senior player in this (the gas) market and its importance is more than significant, it should be observed by Government as a leading company who can deliver gas for the United Kingdom”.'
UK gas consumption is around 3 million MMcf, Saltfleetby might produce 3000 MMcf,so about 0.1% of consumption. Anybody claiming that 'Angus is a senior player' is mistaken or ramping.
