Do you mean while he's calling it short and trying to persuade us to follow him that in fact he's betting on a rise??!! Lol, that would take some doing!
Faragoat - well what i've said isn't and neither is the obscene overbought RSI figure that is now showing.
nickel_investor - I smell bull***t :-)))
I have to say I appreciate those who explain and as best as possible justify their views on these boards, whether positive or negative. Just don't say you're long and then talk it down! But every opinion that is explained and justified is grist to the mill and helpful. Thank you.
Its the nature of the boards that shorters will advertise their bearish view in the hope of convincing others. We could debate his logic e.g. most technical analysis is basically useless in predicting the future and generally looks far more accurate with the benefit of hindsight, The RSI has been saying sell for a few days now (but you can easily get it to neutral - depending on which time period you use to calculate it) other "Oscilator" measures including the MACD still say buy and most moving average technicals say buy. Generally speaking you can find a technical analysis tool to support any position you like as long as you tweak the inputs. Just let Nickel have his say for the moment and fingers crossed we all get to luxuriate in the smell of his short burning as the SP pushes back through 25 and beyond - whether its today, tomorrow or whenever.
Typical of these guys....they like to drop in and out spreading a few scare tactics but would not state his real position, hes not interested as long as he can mug a few off i suppose!
Cold - you've been muted as i'm little interested in talking to the type of poster that get's personal, get's overly emotional about their investments.
I've been long here and more than doubled my money. I'm now also short from 25p which i disclosed at the time.
The RSI is now almost 100, i'm stating that a reversal move is coming. Those who disagree or who want to ignore that's up to them.
If you look at ITM, Allianz did exactly the same thing on Sept 10/11th - sell down a small amount. At the time, I thought the most likely reason was to facilitate another institution to join the register by giving them a starter amount of equity to kick-start a build. It's next to impossible for institutions to build positions by buying in the open market, given the low liquidity in stocks like these.
It makes a lot of sense for an institution to have others alongside it ahead of a possible cap raise and to increase the kudos/status of the invested company by beefing up the register. In the case of ITM, it did Allianz no harm at all and it won't harm Schroders here, either.
FCI, they bought an extra 2m on the 11th circa 9p and sold 500k last Friday around 16p. Maybe the trader responsible is just sorting out his Xmas bonus !
Come on then nickel....instead of tell us that you shorted 10 minutes after an rns on a share thats 4 bagged.
You said you will add to the short....at what price?
Please also tell that at what price you will close short one and short 2?
If you are going to say these things at least have the decency to go all the way?
Now that would be interesting fuel:)
Schroders certainly caused a ripple by selling a very small percentage of their shares, leaving them above where there were before the latest small addition last week. It would be somewhat ironic if they were buying into the dip and release another RNS with an increased holding later!
Mafs....when someone is skulking around the boards on shares that are active you know they are just talking their position...as such, i have no qualm in calling out nickel as a liar....thats allowed on the market as well though!
Mafs - you conveniently forgot that i called the short in EUA at just below 4p before it went back to 2p. As for this, the short was made just below 25p and i'll be happily adding to that.
Good luck all
According to you, EUA was a mother of all spikes....it seems to be doing pretty well post 3p.
He used the same line (Mother of all spikes) when EUA went from 3p to 2p.
Tree Shakes are common when large institutions are buying. GLA
Ignore the Shorters...and yes its the worst kind of trading there is, goes against the whole point of investing in the first place.
I'm a long term holder of many small cap miners from many years.
Had to say something seeing you posting the same drivel on companies that are doing well!
what would be helpful is should Nickel let everyone know the point the short is coming off, say two or three mins before the buy back.
Yes, although i dont really like or agree with shorting, especially on aim but accepted, it is allowed.
However, its bad form posting the way you did....and, your a liar anyway...i know you are and you know you are:)
Shame you need to make it personal.
I was long, made a very large profit from 7p and sold all out around 19p this morning. Have now gone short from 25p and will be adding to that. Some will regret buying the mother of all spikes in due course. It's technically overbought on every indicator but if you think the opposite that's fine with me. And remember, this is a market. Longs and shorts allowed ! GL
According to FT stats over 115m AFC shares have been traded in the last 6 business days. This cannot be all pi’s there must be some stakebuilding. Over 24m today with 3 hrs to go.
Nickel...while you may have put a short on i doubt you did at 25...8 minutes after the rns which leads me to believe you are probably a liar and very jealous of those who have gained from the rise....i just put a short on so GLA.....hahahahaha!
they also sold them on Friday before this raise today. Someone else is buying i reckon
Live price is bouncing all over the place. Just trying to maintain momentum.
Wow - people scare easily. Just changing gears.
Schroders sold 500k of shares c.£115k worth....... this is not a major move just happened to tweak them below 11%. People will see the dip as a chance to get in.
looks like you called it just right Nickel , don't get your fingers burnt .
