To be expected stale holders exiting and new holders buying. Bit of churn is no bad thing. That will hopefully provide a more stable platform to build from up to spud. Softly softly catchy monkey.
I suppose there will be many in the same boat as myself. I added 3 tranches totalling an extra 50% to my holding in September at 0.7 - 0.45. There is a big temptation to sell for a 100% gain in the month. Unless and until new buyers outweigh that profit taking, the SP will remain depressed versus potential future value (5p on production?).
I've been waiting for the back to back drill for 3 years plus, so I'm probably here till production. Todays news was priced in, I was surprised we rose as much as we did from .004 and held, so quite happy where we are today. Value will out.
Well I seen it as another opportunity to purchase more and although I’m now averaging up it looks like a no brainer to me and will now just wait patiently for the Drilling plans to be announced shortly....
Waited 36 a few more ain't going to hurt.
"and now because it didn't jump to 2p, its the end of the world!
tells you, all they want is a wham bham thank you maam share!
if you cant wait A FEW MONTHS POOR, SELL UP AND STOP MOANING!"
I've been here a long time, so am not looking for wham bam as you put it, I also didn't complain there was no RNS, i waited patiently.... however, when good solid progress and guaranteed income is RNS''d I expect the market reaction to be better than opening below yesterdays close
Volume 30 million 5 million unaccounted for price is holding equals large order being filled
To be fair to MM’s on ness they are always going to get people heading for the exit door. The future direction of a share doesn’t come in the two hours after the confirmation. We have known this was coming, it’s been imminent for a short while, so while they can relieve investors of their shares at this time surely they will.
It’s not market makers games as much as that there will be no shortage of people who haven’t got sticky hands and want to trade their 10% or 20% gain.
Fact; the reason most pi’s don’t make money they sell too early
(Most people are good buyers, not as easy to be a good seller)
Fully agree with Crusty "The real news now is the timescales and implementation of seismics and drilling."
There is going to be a stead drip of good news here, the Operating Committee Meeting then it will be a formal programme and schedule then a date for drilling of the Chikumbi-1 well and the 3D seismic acquisition. All happening in the coming months
we may get it gaslady.
we should all now be looking forward to the next RNS- its nice time to be involved. I have been told ara have boots on the ground including aminex. things will be moving, I am expecting things to develop very quickly.
finally we can all see light at the end of the tunnel, but for some people this isn't enough"!
Not AIM. And this is confirmation of what we anticipated, with real news and operations to follow. PLEASE stop whining.
we have professors making highly intelligent comments.
first complaining why the RNS didn't arrive in a few days, ven had some google the word lol
and now because it didn't jump to 2p, its the end of the world!
tells you, all they want is a wham bham thank you maam share!

I'm hoping for 2p by eop... Afternoon session later awaits...
yeah, very poor response, disappointing really, I think i'm going to give up on this one and hope i can reach break even and then get out, almost there with todays pathetic rise. Had i managed to avg down, things would be different, but as it stands, i'm not in a position to put up with another AIM slide into the gutter
agreed Crusty, more interest if the other side gets any offers on there asset as it could be weeks away before anymore news and certainally not days anyway and "Buy On Speculation, Sell On Fact" is the name of the game in Smallcaps !!!
Great to see the i's dotted and t's crossed. The next step now which will really wake the market up is the CH-1 spud timescale and the company sharing a plan and timescales for future work. Appreciate this was in the previous EGM presentation but we now need up-to-date information.
I think it would have been better received if nothing had been said on the 12th and the spike that happened then might have been greater and held longer today.
A lesson in PR for all perhaps, but we are where we are and the confirmation is welcome.
Looking forward to more news, reported well and in a timely fashion to further support and lift the sp. GLA LTH.
agree Crusty, though i thought we might had moved on a wee bit more, but like you say all eyes on CH-1 spud timescale : )
"such important news"? Really - the important news was the Tanzanian Govt approval min my view and hence the sp rise from circa 0.40p to where we are today; today's RNS simply confirms what was, surely, inevitable - it was not a question of "if" but "when".... hence in my view largely in the price.
The real news now is the timescales and implementation of seismics and drilling.
No I think you find traders have sold and market makers trying to fill very large buy orders this will start heading back up soon ,worth 3p all day long
Final piece of news AEx has been waiting for over a long period of time and the market isn't interested. Could be MM working through some sells but there is no volume of trades today for such important news.
