Due to the superb information DW is giving out and my own view on the direction of the SP, I am going to be doing a few little top-ups while we are at the bottom, for me it is just a matter of time before things kick off back northwards. Of course just my opinion so as always DYOR.
The pod cast has probably given answers to the questions we were all thinking about. Makes very good sense . DW is still very much in control and things look very positive going forward. Rome was not build in a day.
LeMajor 08:42 ( recommend given) sticking your neck out mate, indicating DJW's played another blinder!.
*pressed send by accident* IW2 may be just off the bow but if Charlie hits the stern we have an educated guess at the next missile (drill) if you get my drift :)
wouldn't hurt to find out what's on the west Bridgedogg1 that way we can make assumptions/data analysis of HRZ across the whole play as most is not yet been 3D'd....why not if we don't have to give anything more away and they're not interested in HRZ. Plus we are operating the drill. Imagine it like a game of battleships, IW2

The drill “isnt for nothing”
I’m just thinking that we’ve already missed the sweet spot twice. If we could have another drill anywhere we wanted would it be at Charlie? I’m not saying it’s not a good deal.

" Unfortunately we have no idea if the HRZ fairway extends that far and I doubt it is in the optimal location for a HRZ drill (speculation)"
You have been listening to the wrong people, the company has certainly not said they have "no idea" of where the HRZ fairway is, however that have stated that they need to firm up the prospective fairway, to that end side wall cuttings from Charlie-1 will provided good material for FIB-SEM analysis.
How do any of us know the optimal location we have not been given much data apart from the issue of thermal maturity and Charlie-1 is primarily a conventional attack, with a plan to provide data for HRZ appraisal.
"but personally I would like to see a HRZ farmout before the drill for risk mitigation."
If data still needs to be collected and analysed then that will result in a very soft farm out which is not what I want preferably.
I thought you had sold out? so any risk for you? :-)
It's a free carry Bdogg - we are getting a frack for NOTHING!
My thoughts are what does this mean for the HRZ farm out. Doesn’t make a lot of sense to do this now with the funded drilling. Unfortunately we have no idea if the HRZ fairway extends that far and I doubt it is in the optimal location for a HRZ drill (speculation). It should provide good data but might impact future farm out deals negatively if we don’t get good results. Of course if we get net half a billion barrels on the conventional it doesn’t really matter but personally I would like to see a HRZ farmout before the drill for risk mitigation.
RNS 12th September:
A total of 540,000,000 shares will be issued pursuant to 7.1A. The New Ordinary Shares, which will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares in the Company, with Admission and settlement scheduled for Friday, 20 September 2019.
The new shares are released tomorrow and ASX price is currently 0.715p, so we can reasonably summise that 0.7p is the new baseline, and as DW says in his interview "the price can only go up from here".
Perhaps Bits, MILOH, guzzler et all can respond in a calm and reasoned manner. I understand the concerns of all investors that are currently underwater, but there is a lesson to be learned here. Don't invest if you need the funds short term, and NEVER sell at the bottom of the market.
Good luck!
Added a million, must be near the bottom now.
The best part(imo) is that PMO are going with OUR timetable which kicks off in December AND they have agreed to only take 60% of 40% for area A (i.e. 24%) and if they stick with us for areas B & C they get 50% of 60% (i.e. 30%). So whereas a typical deal with a major company would have cost us 75% of the Conventional and a 1 year delay, this deal has only cost us a 54% giveaway
(24+30%) in 2 stages and a near enough immediate start. Plus, we have not had to give away any of the HRZ even though the first drill gives us a freas chunk of core samples like we got from Icewine1 (for $18m) at no cost. I guess that is what creaming the curve is all about.
As DW said, we should see some champagne corks popping if this goes well. It gives me renewed hope that we could move into double digits on the sp by next summer.
He made good points on why it was Premier not a "major" re timelines, working interest and culture. Basically with a major there would have been no split into areas A, B and C they would have wanted the lot, they would have wanted the HRZ as well as the conventional and there would have been no drill until 2021.
Liked his honesty and clarity, enough info for me to increase my holdings. Onwards and upwards, not long until Spring.
