Exactly Villa. Who knows at this point. Roll the dice I guess. No surety here but hey, it may spike to the heady highs once again.
16.48 - This is just a window into the world
Agreed, Ddraig. Each to their own choices.
It's worth hanging around, even if it's just to have a giggle at some of the ****ging matches on here... :)
16.14...and maybe the next drill will be the one, and they'll all be thinking what could have been, or not...pays your money, take your chances. no right answer at this pointt and each to their own.
I bought high in 2019, and watched it crumble. Started buying on the lows and held until it started to go down following this last winter's effort. I cannot complain as I sold @ 50% up, but after three years chose not to spend the summer and autumn wondering if it will rise and put it elsewhere. My concern in buying back in is will it show cyclical rise as it has previously, or has it spent the energy that usually generates pre freeze. Nobody has a crystal ball I suppose, but something tells me too many fingers burnt that will be hesitant to buy.
Time will tell...
And for the likes of all who provide comment on the board over the years I think it's been great. I do miss Jiddy dearly though!! Haha. Mate where are you, hope all good. Brom been a champ. 5ft, cat and all the rest . Let's hope for the best.
Hi Villa, I don't know to be frank. Shirley, don't call me that . Sorry just watched flying high. I think the safety net is gamble what you can afford. I personally don't think 88 will do much. I had a lot invested but got out with what I had put in . Still have a bit in here but not much. In been a long painful journey but profitable for those that trade. I am no day trader but wish everyone all the best. This board for the lths has been great.
03.20 - Nice to see you have your finger on the pulse Monty with your insults and advice. You might achieve more if you kept current - DW left ages ago!!!!
As for switching to a real prospect investment - which of the 8 that you are commenting on would you recommend, or can’t you make your mind up because you can’t find one??!! In the Green Bin you go for talking rubbish!!
03:20 The full Monty. Hope you feel better soon. My advice is put your money in the bank- it will be safe there and you can earn 1% or more interest per annum.
It’s taken 3 years of being trolled, but finally people are realising this is all tricked up to keep a con men in nice jobs at the expense of continuing dilution and updates that will never yield any net cash or profits. If that’s not going to happen it’s a matter of time before it all goes under. BROM, Jiddy123 etc pulling people in on the con is shameful, you seem to not have a job or do anything else but ramp this turd, are you on a retainer by 88E to do this? Of course we know how you will respond. Yes it will be back to something like 0.3p and yes they will need your money for their next discounted dilution fund raising, oh and yes that pattern will repeat again and again. (Keep funding DW and his cronies if you want to it’s your money and they are your charitable donations). You won’t be making any returns here medium or longer term. Insider day traders can make a little on the “perception” of something good happening but look back at past 3-4 years of RMS’s how they start as the potential mother load of oil to then not be commercially viable - It’s amazing that people are so easily duped and separated from their money. Hope people can write off and switch to a real prospect investment, genuinely run company that cares about its shareholders, most do…
WAussie what do you think 88 will do over the next few months? Is there anything they can sell to punters that will see the share price rise leading into the Alaskan winter? More the point, will punters avoid the hype and pretty presentation videos that get released as it's wearing thin? Imo they can only polish the t^^d so much, and the latest efforts on the ice may well have put people off investing.
I thought DW was different, but no. Same **** with these new idiots. They will never do anything imo except scrape off the same money barrel with no oil
It's standard West Perth though. Know it through and through . Bods rape this stuff for great money. 10 years of out there mining money. It's the way it's designed and legal. Unfortunately people suffer as a result
I don't think it looks as good as it did, that's for sure. I do think Brom has been a positive for the board with his insightful knowledge though and that's for sure. What the future holds? Not sure
22.50 you actually didn’t need to wait for the results. The fact that both current and previous senior management of 88e (and long term holder of XCD shares) were quietly dumping shares ahead of the results said everything. Big song and dance when ‘contractors’ are buying in, not so much when they are selling out ahead of the drill.
The reality is the risk/reward on Peregrine was pretty poor. Certainly not good enough for Dave Wall/Erik Opstad who were only to happy to walk away from duck looking, walking and quacking thing.
Of course risk/reward isn’t much discussed on this board. Strange as to me that is what these exploration plays are all about for those holding for results.
Let’s see what the resources numbers look like. Wall was quiet happy to spend $1M on Umiat yet seemingly reluctant to advance the Icewine plays right next to TAPS/Dalton. Folly for GLTHs but very lucrative for him and Erik and few significant contributors to these boards.
Think that may be 46 words, apologies
22:50 unsure as to relevance of "then the last issued at 1130am" .
88E is listed in Australia, UK and USA so what ever time the ANN(RNS) was released it would not be ideal for all markets, perhaps we were lucky to get it first.
The fact that we commissioned wire logging after TD would suggest the company felt it worthwhile to pursue based on initial observations during the drill but "encouraging" does not mean "definite"
The company stated that it was still to confirm the presence of mobile hydrocarbons.
I am sure that if ever well data is released for Merlin-2 it will reveal that the highlights in the ANN(RNS) mirror the daily logs.
Dear pragmatist - what did your post achieve? Nothing. This is the type of irritating self serving post that distracts from why we are here. We are here to gain factual information that will inform chat room members. We are all quite capable of reading announcements!
I actually don't believe the rns's 88e produce anymore. Just have a look at the last 2 during the last drink. The penultimate rns was very promising, then the last issued at 1130am, which caught a lot out was the usual failure.
88e even try using PANR for their promotion. I have had my fingers burnt here, fortunately I can afford it, but since PB days, this share, in my view, will never do anything now.
GLA
well looks like were heading for the usual 0.25p price in the cycle of things with 88 but are we ever going to reach 4p again ?
maybe when we reach 20 billion shares after a couple more cash raises ? who knows ? not me for one... perhaps one of you learned gentlemen who can read these expensive glossy reports can say
