its par for the course and what "bashers" do, hoping to annoy those who know better and mislead those who do not.
08:05 a perfect riposte to 07:54 well done :-))
If you remember it well then you should know what Dave Walls role was?
TPG!! Lol
07:16 there are some very good posters on HC but also traders, unresearched and troublemakers pretty much the same as LSE, I would not treat everything posted there as gospel.
My comment was pointed directly at a reply to 06:11 post, but have seen very similar standards of posting on HC & worse.
"TPG tangeria petrolium" - laugh of the day has arrived early!
Hi Hu11
I remember it well lots of hype and then nothing
Del 101, You’ve just “majorly failed” with that reply.
The quality of posting on hot copper is far better than LSE, wants alway the case.
Did Dave actually say he wouldn't?
Rather he hoped that next time the SP may be more kind, we are now rushing towards the spud possibly now as good as ever if your spud forecast SP is correct.
Any overrun on drill particularly if results poor would be devastating if we then needed to raise cash, better to be prudent and take a short term hit even if the traders get stung.
06:11 you have just seen the danger of doing your research on this board :-)
TPG tangeria petrolium, majorly failed there..
Morning, Was DW involved with another oil company a few years ago?
Well if that's your dream
A trillion shares etc great.
A Newby reading your message might not be around.
Total respect for 5 years service.
Daveoilfriday.... get sooooo sick of hearing"if you bought in sept"... like most people, you need to have the funds and at that stage I didnt, like so many others.
I have been with 88e for 5 years, and like most kept on accumulating, believing in the story, now some how running at a loss, but funny before the CR was just in the blue.
This was hugely dissapointing because just for once I thought DW would just back himself and drill, thats what most LTH wanted....
Truely is 88e trying to be the first ASX listed company to reach a trillion shares?
If you bought the shares in September the price was 0.65sh
Today after crash just shy of 1.28
100% profit
If you bought before Christmas 1.05sh
Today 1.28sh 20% or so profit.
And we haven't drilled yet!!
How is that rinsed?
Try Tullow, Woolworths, Thomas Cook etc.
Lloyds bank dropped 10+% in the last 2 weeks.
I could keep going.
Think I'll go and eat worms...
And it won't be the last
We just all got rinsed by DW again I’m afraid. !
124 million traded. To me that is a big statement that shareholder would sell most at a loss rather than see the drill out because of this CR.
Now mostly new investors who arent up to speed with DW timing.
Anyway I feel this will fall more as the cash raise is at 2 1c(1 10), all this at a time where it should be super exciting....
Talk about a momentum killer..
Generally I don’t have a problem with cash raising when it’s for a specific purpose. If DW has said its for progressing Yukon, or 3d analysis or whatever then that’s ok, I think raising money when you don’t need it and have said you won’t has caused some large holders to sell today. It’s just bad shareholder relations.
