James, concentrate, the price never dropped below 13 last year, your "explanation" needs to stay within the bounds of possibility if you want it to retain any credibility. Tell the truth now: you lost money on Pru last year, didn't you? Your core holding clearly went down with the SP like everyone else's, and your fantasy "trading" success is predicated on fictional, imaginary buying points.

Back in the real world: what do you think the impact of Tencent and Alibaba gaining Hong Kong banking licenses will be on Pru? https://www.reuters.com/article/us-hongkong-banking-digital/tencent-alibaba-xiaomi-units-win-hong-kong-online-banking-license-idUSKCN1SF11L

Hardly my fault you don`t know how to trade a quality share is it?
Here`s a tip just buy and hold and don`t spend your time worrying or being envious of those that make money from shares. To put it bluntly I love to hear of investors that do well and never decry their good fortune.Maybe you should do the same and possibly you could become one of them.
Just look at the broker rating for the PRU and that should tell you something. In the meantime I shall just continue doing my own thing which has made me wealthy for many years.
Chin up kiddo.

Re: Pru What to do???

Nice rise today as investors buy for Divi but expect fall back tomorrow on divi payment. Interesting to see what happens. Blah Blah. I don't think there is too much to worry with of Chinese players Competition as many Chinese and other Asian Communities Value Pru's Trust Factor with their cash. However long term I do think there will be some exceptional benefits in the area , either a Take over or as you mention some sort of Partnership deal with One of the Chinese big boys to the benefit of both parties.
