That’s very true! I personally believe that Bangladesh can’t carry on the way it is so I’ll just let it run and see what happens. Hopefully some news soon.
YKIR, I wouldn't have classed you as a naysayer either, well not at the moment, you normally seem quite a balanced viewpoint and long may that continue. I try to do a similar thing, although I do sometimes can get a bit carried away. Just looking forward to getting this done, as I am in advancing years and would like to have the time to enjoy the money.
Strong news from lots of different areas…. I’m all in and am holding on to my seat for lift off 🚀
@ 1.65p lol, alright for some eh if you can get it
You must make your own decision ,but I have been a long term investor and this is the closest I`ve seen it for potential big gains.
Crowfoot - can you explain to me who might’ve owned these warrants? Apologies for the stupid question I’m sure
So why would you cut your losses if you don’t know the outcome of the proposal? Isn’t that why you invested?
All depends on this proposal
Depends on your risk reward appetite
£40k in the pot via warrants
Looking for 4p and below here and will hoover another tranche up.
I have an average of 10p buy in with a current loss of £1.8k - need to think what I should do - should I hold out or cut my losses?
YKIR we’ve known about fundraise for months, the SP is creating support at 6p area and has been for weeks. If you’re a believer and have sold your full holding while in this trading zone for short term gains, don’t be foolish and sit out while we approach bottom of the zone.
The same way they’ve moved it down on little, the same way they’ll take it back up on the same as they have done previous 3 times.
Ykir correct. Only difference i think it will be at 3.
Lets see
Is it a broker note
Speaking personally hawk, I wouldn't class myself as a naysayer at all. I totally believe in the financial numbers and that Bangladesh has no option other than dig its own coal. They can't service their existing debt and once all their loan options are terminated what else will it do to run its existing coal power stations that have already carry huge financial burden
The current slide in sp is nothing to do with the current project status. It's about greedy people getting as many shares as they can as cheaply as possible. We could all do a Gamestop and force the price back up and scupper their plans, but that won't happen. Theyll keep selling in dribs and drabs and forcing the price down. They'll force the price down and then issue millions of more shares to themselves at a massively discounted price. We can only sit it out and wait.
9.7p down to 6.5p in 2 full trading days. Fundraise imminent. My guess is when it gets to 5p we will see the fundraise done at a discounted 4p. It all depends how much time they have before Hasina makes the decision.
The SP is creating support at 6-6.5p…trading range 6-10p has been active last few weeks. Said it last time we dropped, easy money here boys. Ilka you must be new to trading, keep up!

President asks BERC to explore new energy sources...
FFS!!!
GL with whatever your strategy, but with only about 1.1 million traded, it looks like the games are really being played, I am sure that some are holding on to wait for the new tax year, and others for the placing that will come before the end of May, but that could potentially be another 8 / 9 weeks away….
Either way I believe that now we have seen the articles in several newspapers this weekend about Dighipara and the facts of timescales of how long it’s going to take to start mining, along with the fact that Bara will extended its producing life, although with mining a reduced amount of coal until 2029, I really don’t think it will be much longer now before we start seeing articles about Phulbari and the benefits of open pit mining because of how quickly it can be mined…. Like others have intimated it all just seems to all be a PR exercise at the moment, and so far there has been no mass uprising from the people, and not a word of objection from those at the top in the Bangla government, which from a LTH point of view, seems to be a complete change of heart!!
I see that the naysayers are out in force today, must be something is about to happen, who knows? Invariably that seems to happen, maybe the naysayers should use their information available to them to make some profits. But that said it always makes me even more cheerful knowing what's going to happen.
Lol the market gives these opportunities to buy more or shake out the weaker hands.
Down again... guys you should buy shares not sell if you want sp up! ;)
Always the same when Wos around...positive talk...sell share...sp down
Ah the discount, of course.
I hold already but will be waiting on the sidelines until after the placing.
Cheers
Not sure if it's been commented on already, but I thought an interesting part of the new NED's RNS was Paul Shackleton being appointed as 'acting Chairman'.......it gives a strong hint that there will be another NED appointed who will be THE Chairman.....perhaps from Bangladesh?
Knowing my luck, if I sell in order to take advantage of the expected discount the approval will arrive and SP soar haha. So I just keep some dry powder to buy if appropriate at that time.
The current spread also doesn’t help grease the wheels
