Brilliant Teslo , that must have taken you ages to think up or did your carer write it for you. Sounds like someone is jealous that posties get shares 30% cheaper plus freebies.
Dynamofc firstly let me qualify it somewhat. In one of my roles I had a manager who had monthly meetings with Angard as perhaps you dont know agency are used in many parts of the business so I know how they work. My undertsanding is where we cant be supplied directly via Angard they go out to other agencies ie sub contract. We have been doing this for years and Angards costs are baked into RMG accounts.
The point I was making was we do not incur any fees via Angard if you can show me where we do I stand to be corrected. Of course all resource comes with costs, adverts, interviews, training etc etc. Not sure what your issue is re using Agency as we have done this for decades.
Bottom line is the business will save £100'sk via not paying if some of this goes on agency and any associated costs still massive savings and any surplus will probably be used to keep them on or pay for some overtime to clear any backlogs although I know this was frowned upon after any previous IA.
Teslo the guy is not in the real world not worth engaging with Dinosaurs !
Maximus, guess you're not a postie then.
No offense Dynamo, if breathing wasn't an automatic subconscious behaviour , I'd really fear for you.
I'm surprised you can actually make it through the day.
Agency workers will cost as much and do maybe 60% of the work in the same time as a regular postie. More likely, we will come back to 2 days worth of mail which will take about 2hrs longer to deliver, for which the managers will pay overtime to have a clear office. Posties will probably do this to make up a bit of money from the day before. Striking on the whole will actually save royal mail money. Doesn't usually harm our reputation either. Hopefully the posties who strike will also not go over to clear it in subsequent days. That's the only way strike action will work.
Get your head down, crack on,get out of the stone age and move with the times, modernisation is here, either get on board or jog on…if the latter you will then see what’s going on in the real world :-)
More lies and scaremongering by the bosses. Saying 'if strike action goes ahead royal mail uk will be materially loss making'. Hmm, haven't they already said we are losing £1mln a day, strike action or not? Funny how they can find money to give the local managers their pay rise and pay out £400mln in a dividend. Any other company I have shares in, cut their divi or cancelled it altogether when they went through hard times. Royal mail really need to look after their biggest asset. US the posties. Nobody can realistically use the headline inflation rate to compare with a pay rise anymore but 5% with no strings is reasonable. The 5.5% they quote is subject to a bonus that really is 'above and beyond ' anything that would be remotely achievable and they know it.
Or they by shares even cheaper teslo
Redceo . Explain your Karma meaning sad sack. You were going to hound me off this board previously but it never happened even using your multi posting names.
Keep it coming.
I will have a very large wager that the strike won’t happen - next statement will be no strike and agreement and back to 300p. All for working more flexibly ! An occasional Sunday and extra hour here and there - smell the coffee !!
Hoping Mr K builds his holding to 30%
All those employees that voted to strike whom also hold shares defy logic.
As the price goes down they will lose even more.
You really can't make up how dumb some people actually are in reality.
Enjoy.
Nice to see Royal Mail getting back at out of touch unions who these days want to go to strike at every opportunity! Strikes are already baked into the SP in my opinion!
Red I’m afraid the guy has become the latest Selfish Militant to take up the Cause ,Pathetic
He's just looking to stoke the fire JB. I shan't accommodate him.
Not stressed at all JB , I enjoy calling out bull shutters on here. You have changed your tune so many times. Keep it coming , every time you do it I'll call you out. So you are still claiming that agency workers come at no cost even though most are coming from other agencies than Angard.
Dynamofc you sound really upset. I said we dont pay any additional fees its all accounted for within the business as we own Angard. Check on the RMG website as I do the number of vacancies has reduced. I cant speak for your own office as it seems to have the worst of it on all counts.
I pride myself on being honest and your personal attacks show how weak whatever argument/opinion it is you are trying to push here is.
As I said previously I have no issue with any employees or CWU I am just giving my views on the business position. Maybe you should open your mind to other opinions and facts.
If you are so unhappy with your lot and what the business are doing to you maybe consider what other opportunities you could have elsewhere as you sound really stressed and being genuinely honest that is not good for anyone.
Dynamo for you come across as a Militant Bitter Selfish Individual who really has No believe in the Private Sector , why don’t you go and work somewhere else as they are an awful lot of good posties out there unfortunately your not ,a let down to good hard working employees !
Dynamic. This is my last interaction with you by repeating show my use of the words "death and illness"
I think managers get 55K and regular posties get 30K then overtime and bonuses on top. Sad they are heading for a strike. No one will win - none of us.
JB , You were saying at no extra cost. Now you change your tune and say short term loss. Your clueless , spouting pie in the sky facts and figures.
We use Angard at no costs. Your words not mine.
Vacancies being filled , not true , your words not mine . Like many on here your full of false statements .
The heat was karma were your words Redceo. So tells us how else it was to be interpreted, Mr full of ****. I feel sorry for your wife and kids knowing what a scumbag they are attached too. A scumbag that wishes death and illness on people.
The RNS spells it out. These are facts. I still hope an agreement will be found.
"If the announced strike action takes place, it is expected that Royal Mail in the UK would be materially loss making in FY2022-23.
This decision by the CWU is an abdication of responsibility for the long-term job security of its members. In more than three months of talks, CWU has failed to engage meaningfully on the business changes required. The negative commercial impact of any strike action will only make pay rises less affordable and could put jobs at risk. The CWU has a responsibility to recognise the reality of the situation Royal Mail faces as a business, and to engage urgently on the changes required.
Royal Mail remains ready to talk with the CWU to try and avert damaging industrial action and prevent significant inconvenience for customers. But any talks must be about both change and pay".
DynaRod. What a very strange individual you must be in reality. Perhaps posties do indeed deserve a special payment for working alongside you.
Show us where I used those words. "Redceo wished death on posties in the heatwave". Karma was his words.
I seem to recall it was your twisted interpretation.
Dynamofc I use information that is readily available to all. Very poor attempt to goad about losses I can assure you that you are way off the mark but hey ho if that would make you feel better if people were losing money so be it. The business will use whatever resource it can to keep the service going if that costs more in the short term it just makes the case for any future pay awards, investment and dividends more difficult.
Being honest Dynamofc I dont really understand what it is you want out of your contributions here do you think all shareholders should sell up? Do you think we are to blame for your current situation? I think most on here are intelligent enough to understand the impacts of IA on the business but you seem to be getting some weird pleasure telling us how awful it will all be. Weird.
