As oxygen said, are you sure they weren't talking about this?
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-68897731
Are you sure they weren’t referring to the Moderna/MSD trials involving vaccine mRNA-4157 (V940), being the world’s first personalised mRNA cancer jab for melanoma, and likely other cancers, which is still in trials. Just highlights we need to get a move on !
On LBC this morning.......discussion about cancer break through's and while the company name was not referenced ....to people that are invested the text that was read out was clearly championing the early progress of Avacta's trial so far .....Sujood maybe?
Ice, likely if not certain.
Morning,
Apologies if someone has compared the trials previously, if so, please point me towards.
Just comparing the High FAP AVA6000 data with Keytruda Phase I/II + DOX trial data, link below.
Disease control rate Keytruda 81%, AVA at March 24 67% (possibly up to max 87% when ongoing patients reach 16 weeks).
Stable disease Keytruda 59%, AVA 47% (up to 67% when ongoing patients reach 16 weeks).
Response rate Keytruda 22%, AVA 13% (up to 27% if 2 patients ongoing continue to improve).
Appreciate this is pre optimising AVA600, 2 weekly dosing and dosing at what is deemed optimal level which may/should improve results further.
Also note that AVA6000 showing improved side effects versus standard Dox.
Looks good relative I think?
Thoughts welcome please.
Thoughts welcome.

Superb news but cost effective treatments will always be needed. Also a personalised vaccine extremely expensive. That said good news.
What the f*** is the CFO doing putting his name to that RNS. An inability to do some basic subtraction is embarassing - where is the control and double checking.
Even better news… https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-13344397/Masturbating-risk-prostate-cancer-expert-sheffield.html
Watching's considered opinion was "it won't go lower than £1" as I recall. So who's the Muppet?
Increasing their short by 360k shares, who cares. There is only 1 II with a short position above 0.5% which is actually not bad in this climate and given we are biotech it’s expected. The results so far are spectacular. Onto Tuesday.
Watching
. . . and your considered opinion is what exactly?
Bella
Why do you persist in abusing anyone who doesn’t follow your Pom Pom waving delusion?
It isn’t a lie, it’s a fact. They have increased their short to 0.6 %.
It’s about time that the Pom Pom girls on here opened there eyes to facts rather than just ignoring them and posting wishful thinking based on f*ck all.
Sp increases with positive sentiment.......delusional and wishfull thinking!!!
PL75, you are probably right, and the RNS statement ref the option of repaying in cash is “pandering to the twatterati”. But I still hope the company occasionally use it as disruptor strategy to counteract the shorters. TW etc have had a field day at our expense.
I hope they keep paying in shares and keep cash in the bank. That statement was pandering to the twatterati who think they know best and believe they speak on behalf of everyone. They don’t. In my view pathetic and unprofessional to include that. Have a robust strategy, execute it. Still waiting for the first step Alan…
Evening Earl, my thoughts are that they are trying to appease investors, the majority (especially LTH’s) who are in the red. I appreciate that the placing was to fund AVA6000 and the preclinical pipeline, but if it wrong foots the shorters and helps put a floor under the SP, then I hope they do it.
Thompi to me that seems very encouraging (if it's to be trusted??) On all previous HCI tranches they have never said 'On this occasion the Board has decided to settle the quarterly repayment in shares but will continue to review this on a quarterly basis and, if it considers that conditions allow, the repayment will be settled in cash'. Is this just more Bullsxxt trying to please us hurt PI's or is it trying to tell us a deal is imminent and cash is coming? If so, then no need to ask the question!!
Or they are panicking the 42 price didn’t exactly pay off for them, with the presentation coming up and the blackout period over, news flow can certainly arrive. Wouldn’t be surprised over the next couple of weeks this will rapidly go back up as sentiment starts to turn after the initial shock of placing.
Don't, usually.
And it's their paid eediots who keep popping up on here spputing nonsense...don't acknowledge them...don't engage...
Grim reaper, go away, if your a long term holder who cares, get a life, pathetic, trying to spread fear.
Bet they are playing for 20s,30s
Here is one of mine.
The company has said (RNS 22/4) “if it considers that conditions allow, the repayment [to Heights] will be settled in cash.” To avoid dilution will the company consider paying the next instalment in cash if the share price remains at these low levels?
