Personally, I think it is because he is not used to addressing the market with info so often. Never seen him so active.
And for once, he is at least attempting to stop the share price free falling by complimenting the News with details investors may not of understood or missed from the RNS.
Plus i assume he wants out at some point so he will need to drag this above 2p.

Zumore over the years I am sure you can remember AB being so enthusiastic about the projects he was about to embark on. He wasn't slow pointing out their potential which obviously is part of his job. With this interview he just seemed off the pace. Is he losing faith in it? Oh and I wonder if he has paid all the bills.
I agree Robins. Before they got the Kenyan licenses back Bell was saying how many were interested in partnering them on the Kenyan asset. However in today's stockbox interview he seemed to suggest that at present nobody is interested in partnering them. At the very end of the interview Andrew Bell said:
"If we can get this resource to the point where we want to get it, then we will have many more options because people will be interested in potentially working with us....and that creates options"
At this rate I will still be here for the next super mining cycle.
He is restricted on what he can say. He can't say, if we spend $100k we can add 100k ounces, even if he thinks we can. AIM is pretty strict on resource estimates. If he did give the true picture, as he sees it, no doubt he would be accused of misleading people.
Anyway, as he says, that JORC says that RRR has the basis of a commercial mine at Migori. More work now needs to be done to improve the grade and the quantum. Other mining companies will know exactly what this means. This is likely the start of potential JV partners getting serious.

Just listened to AB interview. He didn't start confidently and bumbled his way along. He said the project looks reasonably economic and later he said it looks like we have a mine. He didn't seem too happy to me.

As usual no one actually reads anything.
Very good. $900mil profit before finance costs, overheads and royalties etc.
Note that the JMS GM voted everything through. So now it is all systems go for the Juno IPO, it should be next week or early the week after.
Having the shares will be nice but the big upside is the haematite in the Mt Ida tenements. If Juno puts in an application to mine that haematite along with the the haematite on the Mt Mason tenements, it will accelerate the payment of the $8mil due from Anglo Pacific and start to generate royalties for RRR.
We should know very soon. The IPO seems to indicate that they will look to mine the haematite on the Mt Ida tenements.

And the trolls were the rampers from ten years ago.
Investing ten years ago, you were investing at the end of a metals super cycle. It looks like we are at the start of another super cycle.

There are people still waiting from when this was valued at 99 times more than it is now. That was classic AIM with the pluggers and rampers and pseudo experts and bloggers and the realisation that the authorities were never going to look at this. Too small. Only ever winners; the directors and whoever got a nice lunch or too. Nothing has changed. There is always a new gobby mug.
Just be patient, its time will come
I am wondering...could this be one of the most boring shares on the market? :)

CGull, I note you have no substantive response and so change the subject to the management.
Bottom line is that things are currently going well for RRR. However, it is undervalued. I think that undervaluation will gradually disappear.

My post by no means endorses Andrew. If his pay was performance related, his losses would be greater then mine.
Small aim miners are risky but we may have just fallen into a purple patch.
It is fundamental, legally required and why anything to with this management will always be uninvestable. Everybody is stupid. That view is clearly right some times which is why "Calamity" does OK and will do for ever. There should be a more robust application of the rules and a "lose the lot" health warning on AIM minnows like this.
Feel your pain. However I do not think we will have a better opportunity to gain some ground on our losses...maybe by the summer i can look at this share In my account and not wince as much! 2-3 p is still achievable.
In terms of removing Andrew, I would have to agree with Helpful. Only a steady ship will bring value in the short/medium term.
I agree we all look to benefit from our investment but AB has not done me any favours over the years. He has kept us ill informed and I am currently around 90% down. His track record here has been abysmal but you never know his luck might change.
You are right Helpful to say that RRR need AB. I suspect he is the only person with the intimate detail and contacts to bring these projects through to fruition but.... shareholders need to be properly informed about all the corporate actions and decisions he seems to take on his own. With so many projects on the go, there is a need to bring a resolution to some of these, RRAL seems to be a good start !!
As some one who has had the need to "ring the bell" I am aware of my mortality and RRR should be aware of the need to have a succession plan for AB as he will be a hard act to follow, otherwise we run a risk that we will not achieve the benefits we all require.
As shareholders we all look to benefit from our investments, however long we have been invested in RRR. GLA
I will pretend you are genuine:
When was it better value?
Value is here:
Iron Ore spin and very likely acceleration of royalty payments
Award of first three Victoria licenses
Reissuing of Migori licenses
Proximity of the Migori JORC
Confirmation that Luanshimba is highly prospective
Issues with VUP largely resolved
Likely award of new license in DRC
Possibility of an outcome on Adidi Kanga
POW share price
JMS share price
Copper price: last year circa $4k now $8/9k and heading higher
POW lining up to make distributions
RRAL listing TSX
So when?
DYOR
So why didn't RRR get snapped up when it was "better value"?
