The damages is based on expected future profits...
Note that the claim is 10x the spend.
Mind you if Baylan nicks Kallak for LKAB, 10 x what BEM has spent would be cheap..........
Good find pocko
I guess that proves that any perceived threat outside of Laponia is only temporary
I kid you not...
“Wales is slated for UN award: Snowdonia's quarries that 'roofed the 19th century world' could become next Unesco heritage site“
A possible legal avenue should the need arise?

Maybe they are director purchases
What's with all these silly low buys, it costs more in commission than the trade.. I used to think it was a code between traders but now think it's more like stupidity..
If he is the minister of Rural affairs now, is his priority the Sami, who in fact might be slightly inconvenienced but no significant impact, or Jokkmokk, who can't meet their budget to keep the town running and desperately needs jobs. We have already established (or UNESCO have) that the only potential impact on Laponia is transportation routes, which actually don't get concluded until the next phase of the permitting process.
When you discuss it, its difficult to see where the delay is and why the Sami are threatening social unrest. Perhaps the Sami have decided that Norrbotten is an independent state and is only for them.
Fair point, if that's his game plan. Albeit if the Sami are his priority then we have probably already lost.
Aren't we due an update on the Kosovo side show soon?
WIW. I guess they're thinking is to keep their powder dry. If they send their detailed letter in now, it gives Baglan 2 months to collude with Sammy over the details.
I guess KB and Baylan gone to the beach
They have to write a letter for which they have every piece of information required. Why would that take more than a couple of days.
Why wait till september if you have the information now.
As a Scouser…..and a red….. this only happened because the blue side wanted to build a stadium in the docks!
The decision is stupid
Hi Sooz, just been reading back. I'm still here but have less time to spare on looking in at the moment. I felt the last RNS and BRR interview were fair. More of the usual, but I'm happy with the new study to be undertaken. Seems like progress to me, in spite of what Baylan may or may not be doing.
Hope you are doing ok.
Enjoy your holiday break. xx
3card, totally agree ...
There's only one UNESCO HERITAGE SITE STATUS I care about. Bet you can guess which one.
All the others will continue to be enjoyed and marvelled at by millions around the world, not because of their UNESCO status, but because they are fabulous in their own right.
It's just yet another bloated and self serving beaurocracy
Given up more like..
Waiting in perpetuity?
Not a single trade today - everyone's waiting !!!!!
lol
Liverpool is a great city...stuff UNESCO. A secret ballot in China...13 for the proposal to delete it, 5 against the proposal, two invalid! Should have been unanimous. I shall try my best never to set foot on a UNESCO site again. LOl.
The Scousers probably nicked it in the first place..
Liverpool stripped of Unesco World Heritage status https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-merseyside-57879475
That jumped off the page before I'd finished it....
I still think this has got a good pair of legs.
