It would be nice to think that now AB has more time on his hands, he is getting on with sorting out the Associates from the MA era. Extra money in the coffers would certainly come in handy.
Re"no matter what else BMR are now within 7/9 months of actual profit generation " How do you work that one out? I take it you mean 7-9 months before we start processing.
BMR are desperate and have been desperate for a very long time. The JV terms are proof of that. AB can dress it up as a great deal for both of us but he has dragged the company to its lowest point and SP at least in the time Ive been invested (8-9 years). Desperately low SP placings, when someone who had shareholders concerns at the heart of his decisions wouldve raised money when the SP was buoyant and sentiment was better. Tripled the shares in issue to then give 40% of future profits away. He has had +3 years to just get on with building the plant and after all that time the best he could do was damage shareholder value. His tenure has been a disaster for shareholders. Someone disprove that? What am I not seeing? Nothing is going to be straightforward, I would love them just to get on with it, what harm could it do us to just build the plant and start processing? Why complicate everything further and further. I really cant rule out AB trying to take on another project to make sure we are stretched to breaking point. With CB on the board and the size of JLP holding they have a huge say in all decisions as they own a deciding vote amount of shares due to the rest of the shares being scattered amongst various shareholders.
Who runs this site BringMyReward I think we should All get behind it. AB has to go! Wtf is he doing now. Fcuk all I reckon letting jubilee sort this mess out while Borrelli gets paid each month doing nothing. There must be something we can do,
I'm an analyst at heart! Buy, sell or hold are the options...
I think a lot of posters tend do get a little jittery when we go long periods without news. I'm feeling confident myself... How can you be a seller if you hold no stock? Perhaps just say you wouldn't buy instead?
Cheers mate.
It's interesting to read the apparent increasing doubt and nervousness amongst LTH's. For what it's worth, I think a lowering of expectations is sensible. The stock has a history of disappointing. Prepare for it again and celebrate if there is a break from the norm. I'm still a seller. If I had any to sell. And if I could actually sell them.
Ah, ok, fair enough!
sidebar, I should have put quotation marks on my first BMR Watch post. Those words were not written by me, I copied and pasted from the BMR Watch website. But I've probably said far worse things about Alex in the past lol.
Not sure why AB would want to speak with him again if he reads the last couple of comments.
Not spoken to him since last time (May 4th). I'm not going to be calling him for a while. I'm just waiting for the project business plan to be approved. BMR can then go ahead with the placing and apply to have trading restored. The BMR watch website was set up back when MA was running BMR. Have a look on the link below. https://bmrwatch.shutterfly.com/
Also what’s the BMR watch website I remember looking at it when it was all active but it’s been a while.
Have you spoken to AB recently?
Do JLP want a bigger slice of Kabwe? You best believe they do! Can we stop them? That depends on how hard AB tries to protect our 'interests'. It seems like he's not tried very hard in the past but I think we stand a good chance. How desperate do you think we actually are? We had a bit of a scare with the licence which I'm sure gave LC a mini stroke, so I think he needs to tread carefully where we are concerned. I don't think he'll try anything underhanded so we just need to make sure we can put up our part of any funding to the project and we should be just fine. If you think JLP are in charge of BMR then maybe read the extract from JLP's JV RNS: "Our immediate next project deliverable is to present the project business plan to the newly formed joint venture company for approval by the board." That statement tells me that they can't just do what they like where the project is concerned, it needs approval by the BMR board. (Kabwe is our asset after-all). Regarding the plant, let's just say that it should be built to the original plan and should be within budget. It's also my understanding that LC is trying to consolidate the build, commission, and production date into one deadline, he's not looking to push the production date back.
Interesting update on the BMR watch website, who is behind it and what makes them think we can stop AB from giving more of Kabwe away? I get that management have failed us which has led to us losing 40% of future projects, but what can we do to prevent another 10% going into the hands of JLP? It'll be interesting to see the significant shareholder register after this next placing. I have a feeling that we will have some large private shareholders that will probably want some sort of board presence/influence in the near future.
Is BMR Watch needed again? Have all you naysayers and critics of BMR Watch learned your lesson I wonder? What transpired with Alikhani was criminal - there is no doubt.... and we laid down because of the imbeciles who thought to do nothing was best. We tried to bring Borrelli under the oversight of shareholders but were defeated by those very same imbeciles who wanted to do nothing. Well, look where doing nothing has got us. We have now been totally raped by Borrelli, by incompetence or by design. So, who now thinks that we should leave this self interested buffoon in control of our company? Surely no one! Should we shareholders try and protect what little is left? YES is my answer. The original purpose of this site was to unite BMR shareholders into an alliance, the primary aim being to protect all shareholders investments in BMR. That still stands true. Borrelli has proved himself totally incompetent or simply on the gravy train of AIM. It's time for shareholders to work out how to be rid of this self interested fake. These are the original goals of the alliance : - Give shareholders a voice with the Board of Directors. - Strive to protect shareholder interests. - Be a resource for pertinent information. - Motivate all shareholders to be proactive - voting on motions at meetings etc. I am at a total loss as to why some shareholders (perhaps nothing more than paid detractors) found those simple goals to be such a threat that their subversiveness, divisiveness and abuse towards BMR Watch knew no bounds. Having experienced what Alikhani and Borrelli have done, I think it is obvious that shareholder oversight and sanity check of Directorship decisions is a pre-requisite before investing in any AIM listed company. What is it going to be? Revolution or Capitulation?
Hi Vig. I cant see why it shouldnt work. We have had our experts lol and now we have a partner who is deemed able to walk and talk and it is more likely than ever that we might produce. I will be expecting further forseeable delays but i hope that we see steady progress instead. Atb G
Good posts Vig. Aye, if JLP decides that it isn't going ahead, for whatever reason, we'll be a bit screwed. The fact that JLP has a large holding in BMR is neither here nor there really, because it was given for close to fook all! So if JLP does nothing more, erm, well, best not to contemplate that. As you mention, mid to end of June and we shall have a clearer picture. Perhaps we'll be able to relax a little. If we get the ball rolling and replace Borrelli, I'll be "delighted". Best wishes.
Spot on Klue, in terms of mirroring my own thoughts. Problem has been Alex, and his inept display. The lack of Bozzer having any real ability to raise appropriate, timely funding has seen him saddle us with JLP, and now we have that entity to deal with instead of being able to go it alone, retaining all profits. JLP's reliability is so far unproven, but, as you say, their due diligence was awful, considering what happened with the licence. It isn't a very inspiring start. We will discover before long whether our remaining profits are to stay as is, or if I'll have to visit Alex personally with my pal Chunk. Lol.
I do not have a chat account activated on Interactive.
It was because Stu addressed a post directly to me. I have my broker account with Interactive, so was checking it and that's how I saw his message, on the BMR thread. To reply was correct.
With what ?
LOL ! It is so annoying only reading one half of a conversation ! And Stuee, bless his little cotton socks , does exactly the same thing on the Interactive Investor board! FFS, its like livng in parallel universes with Bring and now Eric conversing with the dark side! Maybe we should suggest a JV between the two BBs ? Fortunately my investment in BMR is through my Interactive Investor account so I can hop between universes at will with no hyperspace travel sickness!
Turnpan - you are correct. Glencore don't even bother processing their own waste.
