If AB gets killed by a turd filled commode with MA attached, who's gonna run the company and look after shareholder interests? /s
That would indeed provide a bit of respite Especially if the ambulances provided by MA broke down on the way to the hospital.
I'm not in the habit of wishing harm to people, however odious they are. That said....hearing AB has been crushed by MA's run-away, turd filled commode (preferably with MA still sat on it) would certainly provide welcome respite.
a bad day at the office then.
If only assassination was legal. Lol. Aye, Bozzer can't use the Alzheimer's card, but he doesn't need a card. He'll continue as is. He needs a good kicking, in my humble. Or a really bad haircut that'll keep him indoors until Christmas. Cheers lads. Onwards!
Cheers for that Vig. As ever, only my thoughts. Best wishes.
It is difficult to believe how bad he has been, so yes, it could well be with purpose. I won't rule that out. My feeling is though, that he just has too many current Board appointments to focus adeptly on anything. He's a greedy little man without conscience. In my opinion. So it doesn't matter how bad he is, as long as he's getting paid. No problem with screwing shareholders either, as evidenced by the derisory MTR bid, at a time when he was actually in charge there! It is hard to believe that such a person exists. Lol. But I must have led a sheltered life, thinking the best of people. Not now though Klue. Those days are gone. Lessons learned with MA and the latest pipsqueak. Best regards.
how good the assets are, if you have bad management then it is not going to be worth much. I can see AB and CB going on a spending spree with LCs blessings, then when BMR can't pay their debts and with the sp at rock bottom levels, JLP, out of the goodness of their own hearts merge with BMR. AB receives a hansom payoff and rides off into the sunset. Apart from holding the licenses BMR look to be a dead weight, what have they got to offer?
I'm sure he will have plenty of his own.
It's not as if he can use the altzheimers excuse
I fell out of love with AB (not in the biblical sense of course), when he tried to shaft MTR holders. If he can do that to them, he can and pretty much has done it to us, at least SP and Profit wise. Should have heeded the signs and exited for a small loss a couple of years ago.
Klue- it's hard to believe that AB could have been so consistently atrocious without malicious intent.
Has he been so awful through natural calamity or by purposefully always choosing the worst and/or highest risk decisions in order to bring us to this juncture.
As far as I'm aware we submitted plans for a 5tph plant. I'm surprised we're still going over this lol. LC went to Zambia to discuss extending the construction and production date till end of December, and perhaps to discuss other projects related to JLP. I should have asked about the Vanadium when I last spoke to AB. I'd be surprised if we've actually submitted the EPB. I wonder if they'll wait until the plant is up and running first, then look to sell the V early next year. If I was AB and co, I'd be looking to sell it ASAP.
Good points. The proof of his woeful performance is clear to see. I would not be at all surprised if he now somehow managed to give away even more of our future profits, in return for a tiny pot of jam today. JLP has struck it lucky, but only because Bozzer has been so awful. Cheers Klue.
i totally dissagree,start big,borrow big,sell big,produce big,think big and post big lol..
We just don't know, so can only wait and see.
Hi Vig. I really don't know whether Leon will be trying to up the 5tph rate, at this point in time. I wouldn't like to guess what he is specifically liaising about, but I feel it doubtful that it should be relating to the initial output per hour. Time is of the essence now, in my view, as we have the recently imposed Zambian timescales for each development stage, so an upgrade of plant capacity should really be a matter for later down the road. The stage targets surely having been agreed between all parties before the licence reinstatement, so to revisit it again so soon and try to change something I feel would be highly inappropriate. Let's get this project off the ground first VIg and upgrade once we are able to walk successfully. As for the Vanadium, BMR doesn't yet have ZEMA approval for that, an EPB yet to be submitted (which should have actually happened last year), so I can't even suggest how long it could all take to sort. We have approval to process the lead and zinc, so let's get on with it. That's my outlook. Start small, but start. Then build value. Ka-Pow! Best regards.
I remain convinced that JLP will be trying to change the process and therefore the plant design. That can potentially be done without revisiting the JV. A bigger plant (which is needed to make the economics more attractive for everyone) would likely require a renegotiation of the JV.
Seen a few opine that AB uses most of his businesses as lifestyle companies. Hard to argue when you see the carnage of liquidation's and terminations he has overseen in his past. Most MTR holders would suggest he isn't to be trusted - let's face it, if he could do what he did to them what would stop him doing similar actions to us. Onto our third suspension since he has been in charge, can't really be seen as positive action anyway you cut it. Not too many who left now who can honestly say they have faith in AB. Always had my own 'tin foil hat' theories on his actions and maybe this is what we're seeing played out now.
.....licence back now though, not tough......Lol
We all hope so Vig. Well, those of us who are invested do anyway. 6-7 months and we'll be able to see how real any recovery is. In my humble. Best wishes.
Yes, I won't come back on that further, we are where we are. JLP and BMR must now perform for all concerned. Talking up anything won't wash at this stage, we need timely action on site, not merely the words of action. Let's see and fingers crossed. I'll be more confident when I see evidence of progress. Only then. Cheers Bring.
One thing's for sure, we have been let down by management, I can't deny that. So we find ourselves in this sorry mess, but I feel we are now close to getting out of the hole we are in, with the help of JLP. Regarding the licence, it doesn't matter if it was taken due to corruption, or the ZG saying BMR had not made enough progress, there was no justification in taking it, hence they swiftly gave it back without much of a fight. I also think JLP did play a part in getting it back, but I doubt we will ever know how big a part they played, not that it matters as we now have it back, let's move on. Given the circumstances, I think this JV deal with JLP was probably the best outcome we could have hoped for. I don't think we would have gone bust without it, but the alternative doesn't bare thinking about, and again, it doesn't matter. We have the JV with JLP and it's better than nothing or a worse alternative. Let's put our differences aside and try to get a long, we are partners now after all...
Alex has his fingers in many other pies, so I would say that they may all be deemed lifestyle companies to him. That's the problem. BMR has an asset in one of the most polluted parts of the world. It has needed much better care and attention than Alex has allocated. We thankfully have our licence back now tough, serious work must be done. It must happen, so perhaps Alex will move on and allow the suitably qualified people to progress the project. Dunno. Only my thoughts.
