I was feeling a bit upset seeing the sp drop once again, but now it looks like we are finally starting the ball rolling!! I do like the bit that says if the drilling goes well we have lots more to drill asap , gla , been a long road from the big O days lol
The demand is certainly there and we are in the best place we`ve been in for many years, as another piece of the jigsaw slots into place, with hopefully more good news to come soon. I`m certainly feeling more comfortable with all my top ups here and with the big players being cash rich, they will be looking for the next decent prospect. GLA
Nice to have confirmation of the farm out and see the clearly mapped out exploration programme.
Finally - Lots of positive moving parts here to now focus on.
Should be a very interesting Q3 and Q4 for more news flow.
GLA investors
Yes Joe, but a lot has changed,Gas prices,Cash rich oil and gas companies, The World outlook to secure Gas.
They need our Gas..........

.....but with the start of another farm out process it feels a bit like we have been here before
‘News’ flow…..my fat fingers aren’t working properly today :)
I think I may just be vindicated for holding and adding to my Sound portfolio over the years….if the new flow can be kept rolling now this could really gain ground again. GLA

Good RNS
the Company announces that it has initiated a formal farm-out process for the Tendrara Production Concession and the surrounding Greater Tendrara and Anoual exploration permits and has appointed Gneiss Energy Limited, a leading energy corporate finance advisory firm, to manage the farm-out process.
The objective of the area-wide farm-out is to seek a co-investing partner in each licence to both fund the expected balance of Phase 2 development costs and also to progress an exploration and appraisal drilling programme in the Greater Tendrara and Anoual exploration permit areas.
Graham Lyon, Sound Energy's Executive Chairman, commented:
"We are making good progress on the senior debt facility for the Tendrara project, which is planned to fund the majority of the Phase 2 development costs.
In parallel, we have now commenced a farm-out process to secure partner participation in both the development of the Tendrara Production Concession and exploration and appraisal in the surrounding exploration permits.
Our re-evaluation of the potential of the Greater Tendrara and Anoual exploration permits has high-graded three drilling targets, two of which have previously encountered gas shows. We believe mechanical stimulation is the key to unlocking the potential of the TAGI gas reservoir, as we have done at the TE-5 Horst discovery. Importantly, future discoveries in this area have the potential to be commercialised through the planned infrastructure that will be built at the TE-5 Horst development.
We look forward to updating shareholders on progress as we move forward."
Nigeria gas is too expensive...

It's a slightly weird article, saying the pipeline "will transport up to 5,400 billion cubic meters of gas to Morocco annually, representing almost half of Morocco’s gas imports in 2017."
5,400 bcm is 200 tcf, which is nearly twice global annual consumption. That's clearly wrong, so maybe the comma in 5,400 means 5.400 which is common in Europe. That means we're talking about 200 bcf, but that's still five times Morocco's annual imports. But then again, why would anyone build the longest pipeline in the world to transport just half of Morocco's 40 bcf needs. That would be the equivalent of just TE-5's Phase 2 output.
The only problem with this is it`s states 25 years to start operations. Pretty sure the bondholders will not wait that long. Still it`s an interesting article. The market has no confidence in this share, down over 5% again.
I do not think this is small trades walking the price down. More worrying is it someone in the know concerning the tax. I find it unbelievable that the BOD are not keeping shareholders up to date with information on this subject. Even if it`s to let us know that they have not received the reasons for the adjudication.
KTF yes i`m wasting my time posting on the weekend . Lovely day today i might even go outside.

Sorry if already posted , but give me more hope for us getting some gas sold , gla
Let’s hope for better weeks ahead, as this one didn’t do it for me .
With all these very small trades it almost looks as though someone is trying to walk the price down
I learned a long time ago , no more cash from me until I see some real progress without obstacles … the tax still worries me , as I’m not sure if it should be paid or is it an underhand way of getting sound ?? Time will tell gla
I top up a little yesterday and the price drops today after sitting stable at previous level for a week or so.
ffs!
Mine too bob
hope so, had a little top up this afternoon, but dont really want to be putting anymore in now.
Let’s hope Graham has some news for us soon , that’s palatable or a new q& a date ?
My 50k this morning was a buy, so not sure about yesterday’s and todays trades
yeah the lack of updates is worryi g.
i think we're basically screwed between parsnip and some very dubious proceedures/rules
I thought we would have been given the reasons for the Moroccan tax authorities adjudicating against Sound by now. Then the BOD could have decided on whether to appeal or not.
This is the quietest this board has ever been
