No idea why so LOW. HK market is volatile.
many buys recently ,can it be to much to hope for that this share price may soon start to recover some from this low share
no...I am be Jolly naughty...just doing what Pooh seemed good at: nothing
Are you hearing Pooh stories? Do tell, however awful - I haven't seen any news, just hoping the cash mountain that ACHL have will one day be factored in.
as the pooh stories start
will look forward to your posts and your research
..
live & learn...this sp is bizarre ... ....and may presage some awful Chinese news ...perhaps delisting...wtfdik lol ...also (in the wider/wilder markets) it's tin hats on/risk off imv...so even higher cash mountain may be v well placed soon enough ...no advice intended
Bemused at current share price-I can only think due to the volatility in HK recently. I am not aware of any fundemental changes in the Company's finacial position. Will have to do some digging.
at the share price of ACHL about August to October 2009, it was about 440p a share ( roughly ). I wonder what the potential for an excellent recovery is ?
Can anyone enlighten around the rules of the company de-listing, with it being dual listed? I understand that in normal circumstances (single market listing) a company requires 75% of the vote to carry out a delisting. In ACHL 60% of the issued shares are NOT in public hands, therefore they would require a further 15% to de-list. Would that be correct or are the rules different for dual listed companies? Thanks.
Can you share your arguments with us? What do you think about the purchase of more than 400k shares by Mr. Moncreiffe, an independent director, at around 22p?
The accounts are incorrect, no doubt in my mind.
Strange comments- there is actually a business with a good underlying NAV. Or are you suggesting the accounts are incorrect?
you like them apples eh? ;)
I think some shareholders of other AIM shares like BHR, KIBO and MTV might feel their share should have the title of "biggest dog on AIM". In fact the AIM market has been a disaster area over the last two years. I just hope ACHL doesn't consider packing it in and delisting like a few other China based shares have decided over the last few trading days..
I still struggle to understand why anyone would waste time on this stock. Everyone who has spent any time in China will know the financial statements are a sham. Asian Citrus have no corporate governance, Chairman sells huge amount of stock at 35p, days later, bad news comes out & does not stop coming for next 18 months. If you are already in, sure, hold on and hope for a rise, for new shareholders, look elsewhere, there are much better run companies out there.
back test ?
I have been in for 3 years buying all the way down and am sitting on a 24k loss, we have been hit by 'acts of god' and the share price has suffered. Plenty of cash, the weather will get better, just have to be patient. This is one of my safe bets if the market collapses, this one can't go down that much further! I have enjoyed the dividends, with a bit of luck if you buy in now, you might easily be securing a 10% yield if we get better weather!
Cheers, Makes more sense now. Even on that this doesn't look too bad. I will look to invest here but will do a bit of research. How do you see the near term outlook? Regards, Mpg
It could be shown in RMB the Chinese currency, divide by 10 and you have the pounds.
On the fundamentals it states profit as 124.66m. Is this wrong?
Get some clarity on your FX.
I see that they are making a profit of 124m and market cap is around d the same... Surely not right or is it seriously undervalued. Can any poster give me a brief synopsis of the company. Mpg
I am invested in this one, the more I looked into into the business the more I liked. Its got a product being Sold, looked after, replenished for higher levels. All the previous bad news of the canker issue priced in and looks sorted. Its very much a forward looking play now.
