If something was worth buying, its not here now.
Is spot on!
Well took the large hit, did reduce at 16 and 9 also!! If the deal completes will buy back. If no deal, think your right ado atb
I am invested in this one, the more I looked into into the business the more I liked. Its got a product being Sold, looked after, replenished for higher levels. All the previous bad news of the canker issue priced in and looks sorted. Its very much a forward looking play now.
Nice to see a buy showing as a sell at the end of the day ;)
Keep Buying! My target 24 short term
As soon as I bought in the price went to 12.6 to buy 12.3 to sell. Will not take much buying pressure to see this rise. Lots of diddly sells as you say to keep it here. Its not going to take much for this to move I would think. And no stamp duty to pay here!
Just bought in here, reading up on what they have looks like all the bad news is priced in now. And with the chartist picking the bottom at 12p it looks a very good shout for a very decent run up. Forward looking play now. With the planting of so many new plants and the conker issue under control it looks promising.
Dragon Oil, which is 51 per cent owned by Emirates National Oil – a company ultimately owned by the Government of Dubai – was sold down to 515p on the news before rallying to close 3p dearer at 547p.
Cash at 31 December 2011 was US$1,527 million £1bn 71,751 bopd end of 2011; average 61,500 bopd, targeting 100,000 bopd Actively pursuing acquisitions, there rns make for good reading! Just completed 5 million share buy back. Looks a very good fit for the Dragon and lose most overpaid board members of blvn!! I would be happy and realistic to take 1 (dragon) for 2 (blvn) shares for the Dragon?? And your right its all too busy on blvn right now :)

Well done, first operated drill and first oil strike....
Faroe Petroleum says drilling operations have started on the Fulla exploration prospect. Faroe has a 50% interest in the prospect which is located in the west of Shetland area of the Atlantic margin. The well, located to the north east of the producing Clair oil field, is targeting potentially oil-bearing Devonian Clair reservoir sands at a depth of 2,100 metres. Faroe is operator of the well which is being drilled by the 'WilPhoenix' semi-submersible drilling rig under contract with Awilco Drilling in a water depth of 120 metres. Operations are expected to be completed well within the summer weather period. Story provided by StockMarketWire.com http://www.investegate.co.uk/InvArticle.aspx?id=230462
DJ UPDATE: UK Sees Sharpest-Ever Fall In Domestic Oil Production (Updates with detail on oil production.) LONDON (Dow Jones)--The U.K. economy experienced a double blow in the first quarter as the largest drop ever recorded in domestic oil production, and a corresponding surge in imports, coincided with prices rising above $100 a barrel, data from the Department of Energy and Climate Change showed Thursday. This large drop in oil production, matched by a similar drop in natural gas output, comes as the U.K. oil industry is locked in a dispute with the government over a large tax increase imposed on them in March. Oil companies say the tax hike will discourage investment and worsen the existing decline in production. Domestic oil producton fell 15.5% on the year in the first quarter, the largest decrease since quarterly reporting began in 1995, DECC said in its quarterly statistical report. "Maintenance and other production issues, alongside the long-term reduction, were the main causes of the decrease, DECC said. Oil imports quadrupled in the period to 4 million tons, DECC said, just as political unrest in the Middle East and North Africa pushed oil above $100 a barrel. Natural gas production was down 17.7%, DECC said. Gas demand also fell because of mild weather and lower use of the fuel for power generation and was down 15.2% compared with a year-earlier, it said. Net imports of gas rose by just 0.5%. -By James Herron, Dow Jones Newswires; +44 (0)20 7842 9317; james.herron@dowjones.com (END) Dow Jones Newswires June 30, 2011 07:06 ET (11:06 GMT) Copyright (c) 2011 Dow Jones & Company, Inc.

Faroe Petroleum has agreed a farm-out deal with Canadian Overseas Petroleum for the west of Shetland licence P.1161 and the associated commitment to drill an exploration well on the Fulla prospect. Licence P.1161 - which covers blocks 206/5a, 10a - is located approximately 10 kilometres to the north-east of the producing Clair oil field and contains the Freya discovery and Fulla prospect. Freya was discovered in 1980 by well 206/10a-1, which encountered 475 feet of oil-bearing Devonian Clair reservoir sands. A drill-stem test was performed at the time of discovery but, similar to the first Clair appraisal wells, oil did not flow to surface and the oil quality in Freya and Fulla therefore remains a key uncertainty. The nearby Clair oil field is producing at a rate of between 30,000 and 50,000 barrels of oil per day. The Fulla prospect is situated along the same structural trend immediately to the north-east of Freya, in relatively shallow water of under 150 metres. The plan is to drill a vertical exploration well on the Fulla prospect in 2011. Under the terms of the farm-out agreement, Faroe will retain a 50% interest in this licence and operatorship, while COPL will acquire a 50% interest and pay a proportionately larger share of costs on the Fulla exploration well.
