I like looking back!
Uncanny how accurate things are turning out given a three year or so delay - and the jewel in the crown Sonora is indeed a jewel in the crown - Mexican gov had it valued at $600bn - no wonder they are trying to steal it - I also don't believe it will be a long process to get a result with the litigation - Mexico is losing out,
$82,000/t and we were talking a 5p party at $6,000/t
.... why am I not surprised ..... there are probably a few posters here who don't like revisiting, reviewing & commentary on past events, predictions, projects & investments because the reality of it today doesn't fit with ra ra narrative ..... if things were otherwise I'm sure there'd be lots of self gratification & back slapping going on about how clever those chosen few were to see the future gains & projects that were being predicted 'back in the days between 2013 & 2023!!
doesn't change that today effectively Amapa is the only thing that might aid many to see some degree of recovery for some if it gets us up to the 30's or beyond, personally I'd be more than happy with 20p+
Their moniker, '842, suggests they were close to celebtating their 82nd birthdy in August. Shame you didn't see KDNC make it Obs, but no difference to the rest of us :(
Indeed, his absence hasn't gone unnoticed, I was hoping he just grew tired of posting but was expecting a return by now.
I'm not sure people digging up past opinions and projections have a valid argument considering Covid, AMLO, shipping crisis, the chip crisis and the Ukraine war all have contributed to where we stand today:
Not forgetting lithium hit $82,000/t - good though that EV and ICE price parity is here and battery tech is adding to the compelling reasons lithium will take off again - IMHO at an accelerated pace - @Observer842 made a real positive contribution with his research.
If you are looking in @Observer842, I wish you well.
That’s really sad to hear… he has been missed… and you never think the worst until someone close explains he might not have gone by choice…
We had direct contact and it stopped abruptly and none of the accounts have posted so that is my conclusion.
Lets see what happens if the placee hangs on to them 8% + warrants is a significant chunk of the company to have influence over the future of it to appoint directors etc so hopefully they bring something to the table and hold management to account so we can all salvage something out of this. We are buying in at a $110m valuation which suggests our holding is worth on the books £30m and surely more else why be investing. So that would be a starting point of realising some value.
29,642,800 shares were voted at the last AGM so with warrants that would be 50% of the vote if warrants get exercised (assuming no other holdings).
.... EV as I recall you & he were a bit of a tag team back in the day ...& You may be right of course or it could be that he got fed up of bigging up SP's for various reasons for them to let him down one by one .... posters come & go all the time, there one day gone the next that's the way with anonymous boards I prefer to consider that he's around but got fed up thank you, if he's I'll I wish him a good recovery if he's passed his family have my condolences but whatever the reason for his disappearance the fact remains the majority of what he was posting up as potential game changers with various calculations of future reward are now dust .... we have Amapa effectively as a game changer here & hopefully my exit ..... oh & if I should peg it overnight or in the near future please feel free to make fun of my error & my handle at any time in the future if Sonora makes us a pile when I'm no longer around to eat my hat 😁
Yes, progression towards oblivion. Wonder why there are no director buys anymore?
Progress, slow but sure is what I see.
:-)
@Bannor, Obs went dark all of a sudden and for all we know could well be ill or have passed away so may be best not to post disparaging remarks about them.

CERNE's partnership in this final phase of the environmental licensing procedures was of great value to our work. In this second stage of the work we focus on the objective of conserving natural resource enterprises, to carry out a survey of fauna and flora, both terrestrial and aquatic. The project is complete and also includes measuring the noise that our operations may cause in the region where we operate in Amapá, as well as seeking to provide the community with greater awareness of the activities we carry out when extracting and moving iron ore. There were two moments in which excellent work was carried out, during the dry and rainy periods in the North of the country, so that the specialist company was able to issue a complete report of the entire survey of the before and after of our operations, with the aim of to maintain community well-being and environmental control.
😂🤣😂🤷♂️
.....indeed .... Where is Obs ...is that him posting as Wise investor on EMH or is he curled up in a ball somewhere mulling over the past & wondering where it all went so wrong 😂
Yep agreed, I posted Amapa or bust a few years back. And to think some of the brigade on here, I'm sure you can remember were posting about the expected dividends from Hastings, Sonora and EMH lol.
Exactly, we'll be out by their DFS 😂🤣😂! Shareholders diluted to build the once 20% stake held....for what?
That remaining RNS is the one I'm interested in lol.
'🤣😂🤣 their buy high sell low strategy is on point....'
....to be fair Dallas although their strategy has kept diluting, diluting & destroying the SP for PU's to keep us going for the last 13+ years it has provided literally many millions in salaries & hob nobs got pay the staff don't you know after all you can't run a circus without the clowns or a ranch without the cowboys 😂
I think it's clear (well to me anyways) we're going Amapa all in at the AIM casino .... fingers crossed.
.....and aren't we expecting at least one more RNS today ?!?
....actually I missed 3 of them so here they are 🤠🤠🤠
Indeed ....I wonder how many we might have sold into the spike today that we'll miss out on when some real significant news comes in - yeeeeeeee haaaaaaa!! 🤠
🤣😂🤣 their buy high sell low strategy is on point....
Indeed .... bet your ar$e on it being spun into another positive gain for our investment strategy .... I've made more on EMH as a % in the last couple of weeks than they will have done in the last 12 years!!
An EMH RNS won't be relevant to us soon....down to 3.2% now.
Boooom full ask being paid
European Metals Holdings #EMH - Successful production of lithium hydroxide at Cinovec
So, next week we will possibly know if the dodgy mining laws are overturned leaving the only hurdle as the investment claims'
I do recall while the laws were under review Ganfeng put investment on hold - that's easily defended I would imagine and as mentioned Peter Secker stated investment was exceeded:
https://www.reuters.com/markets/commodities/chinas-ganfeng-indefinitely-postpones-mexican-lithium-target-date-amid-govt-spat-2023-11-09/
"We have exceeded the minimum spend required," Secker said, adding the company will use all legal resources available to challenge the move and avoid a cancellation.
I'll say it again, this could be a way out of a sticky situation for Morena if they concede that the Supreme court are responsible, looking back over the last two years the narcissist has completely destroyed the nascent lithium industry in Mexico at a time when every other NA and SA country has supply on line or under construction along with battery factories.
You won't have a battery industry without the Chinese giants being involved.
