I'll predict the institutional investor:
Dick Turpin!
..... unless the fault lies at their own door by voting for the resolutions regarding placing capacity & pre-emption rights I reckon those with potentially the biggest cause to complain is anyone who bought in recently in the 5's /6's based on & believing Kiran's repeated assertions we wouldn't be raising at this level & yet again then going back on something he's said repeatedly & doing so !!!!
Whether we'll find out on Thursday remains to be seen but there'd better be a good reason for this rushed through raise or who it's to because the 250k sells Friday & yesterday could be forward selling, unless of course someone other than Mr James or myself (the only two holders I'm certain has sufficient quantity) has decided to jump off the train (& it wasn't me)
Biggest jump over 2 days since 2021 apparently,, lol
:-)
Why is there no ''bargepole'' in the opinion section?
...maybe they'll actually get around to putting a drill in the ground sometime 'BEFORE' we get the opportunity to sell our our holding!!!

...it's 8.4% of the enlarged SCAP ...... however 1666667 is 9.25% of 181M .... & I'd already calculated the warrants at 5p (4p overall average) & you only have knowledge of 'some' of my legacy buys .... my initial purchases (& some subsequent) have been down here from 13years ago ... & Who's to say I haven't averaged down again by 157k very very recently (which I have) ... reduced my potential exit price again accordingly thank you very much 😁
So if this institutional investor is the one who is providing the project level equity financing… what’s their av with their total kdnc holdings… incl warrants…
Lol… it’s 8.4% for £500k at 3p as stated… but yep… it’s so annoying… i might have to indulge again myself when it drops to 3p/share… that’s 25% cheaper than even your lowest ever legacy buys bannor… anyone’s buys ftm… criminal… (the warrants are 5p btw… giving a 4p av overall for the £1.33m investment)…
...at the moment it's over 9% for £500k @3p (over 16.66M v 181SCAP) ..... in total though assuming all the warrants are exercised they'll have effectively had 18.41% of the company for £1.33M .... quite the crock ... Thursday just might provide more detail but I'll be interested to see whose been let in at our cost this time ..... anyone now regretting not voting against the placing capacity & pre-emption right exemption articles at the last AGM ...
Yes… $550k for 0.5% is the same as $1.1m for 1%…
in total i think by construction we’ll get another 1.4%… ballpark…
sep to mar = 6months ($1.1m/1%)…
1month = $0.18m/0.16%…
mar to dec = 9months ($1.6m/1.5%)…
Yes @tomcat-14, I was hoping so, and do we get another 1/2 percent with the cash raise?
Simply the rate of cash burn to do what they’ve done between then and now… and anticipating a similar cash burn to take us from now until the end of the year / beginning of construction… that with see us at 35% ownership of amapa…
@tomcat-14,
what is the driver behind the timing and why the full 1%, points 1 & 2 (plan B) below I can see could be due to be funded now points 3 & 4 (plan A) didn't appear to be so urgent, and why I hope we see a reason to expedite some of the work. At the same time if we have been obliged to hit 33% (add £500k raise) does this take is up to the expected investment to the point of construction?
The net proceeds of the Fundraise will solely be used to fund Cadence's investment in the Amapá Iron Ore Project in Brazil ("Amapá", "Project" or "Amapá Project"), specifically:
· Prepare a revised mine schedule, up to a Pre-Feasibility Study ("PFS") level, to reflect an increased production of 5.5 million tonnes per annum ("Mtpa"), with 4.51 Mtpa at 65% Fe and 0.99 Mtpa at 62% Fe.
· Prepare and publish a revised PFS economic model that reflects the production increase and the 33% lower plant capital expenditure, which we announced on March 22, 2024.
· The sampling and testing of the 67% Fe "Green Iron" product flow sheet, to a PFS level or accuracy.
· If the testing of the "Green Iron" flow sheet is successful, the preparation and publication of a revised PFS economic model to reflect the higher product quality increased production.
Why?… if you don’t already know… we are funding amapa… kdnc…
At the end of September 2023, Cadence's total investment in the Amapá Project stood at approximately US$12.1 million, with the equity stake in the project standing at 32.6%. As of March 28th 2024, Cadence's total investment in the Amapá Project had increased by approximately US$1.1 million to a total investment of approximately US$13.2 million, and consequently the equity stake in the project now stands at 33.6%.
FCA @ Maddog I was thinking more along the lines Four Company A-holes 😂
..... Looking at all the 250k trades that have occured I wouldn't be surprised if there's not some forward selling going on .... an institutional investor is going to be in it purely for the money for the funds they manage quick 10/20% sets them up to exercise warrants for a net nothing ...PI's get screwed again .... another f-up IMO
WHO could sell 8% of a company for half a million only KM could do that and knock 40% off the s/p as well,
this action is never right in the rain of kings pudding there must be something aloft or he is in for a bonus he says we are worth 20 odd p on paper so why sell the shareholders out and destroy the company he has made this company uninvestable ,
i new there was something wrong with all the timing of getting the concessions we need ,
I will say it again the 3 omigos thieves should be removered asp
They've been raising like this for 11 years @EV.
Sure, but get the licenses in place and sell the project to someone with the cash to pursue it, the strategy has to change as there is no more money to put in, we can't keep raising like this.
Prior to Ganfeng's concessions being cancelled....they were about to embark on their own DFS despite the project already having one.
Smoke and mirrors...we couldn't get funding for the DFS.
The 67% is not a refurb of a known process...
You don't let 'potential' investors run the show.... 'potential' investors may not even end up investing....you do what's best for the project making it attractive for investors.
But we'll see.
Because it's a refurb of a known process there is less risk so the potential investors are happy to go straight to the construction phase once it's licensed so the work done to plan for construction is essentially the same as the DFS would require, so the funders are going to come in pre-DFS. I think at this point they'd look to get it licensed, see what we can get for it then give shareholders a return.
Forget taking part in the placing...you'll be able to buy cheaper than it...at this rate.
I wonder how many PI's who took the placing at 20.5p would have entertained this one had it been offered to them?
Perhaps they could Photoshop the P in pfs into a D for the bank !
