Agency Bargain

Definition of 'Agency Bargain'

A trade that involves a client buying or selling stock through a broker dealer agent, with a broker dealer principal as the counterparty. Also known as an agent/principal bargain. Most agent/principal bargains involve a market maker as the principal.
