Daejan Holdings PLC19 February 2008 The Trustees of the B S E Freshwater Discretionary Settlement Trust, in whichMessrs D Davis and S I Freshwater (who are both directors of the Company) areTrustees, have today transferred 1 million ordinary shares of 25p each in DaejanHoldings PLC to Valand Investments Limited, which is registered in Gibraltar.The shares were subject to a call option granted in December 2000 at a fixedprice of £8.50 per share. Valand Investments Limited is wholly owned by the Trustees of a discretionarytrust whose beneficiaries are the grandchildren of Mr B S E Freshwater and Mr SI Freshwater, directors of Daejan Holdings PLC and charities. As a result of this transaction the notifiable shareholdings of the B S EFreshwater Settlement have been reduced from 1,705,000 shares (10.5% of totalvoting rights) to 705,000 shares (4,3% of total voting rights).
