XP Power PLC22 February 2006 XP Power plc ("XP" or "the Company") Transaction in Own Shares Pursuant to the Company's share option scheme, 3,000 options have been exercisedon 21st February 2006. The Company has met this requirement for shares by theissue of 3,000 shares from its holding in treasury. Following the disposal of these shares, the Company has 20,704,621 ordinaryshares in issue including 1,783,125 treasury shares held by the Company. For reporting purposes under section 198 of the Companies Act 1985, the marketshould exclude any shares held in treasury.
