Matrix Income & Growth VCT plc announces that on 8 March 2012 it purchased 425,000 of the Company's own Ordinary Shares at a price of 79 pence per share for cancellation.

Following this purchase there are now 42,181,052 Ordinary Shares of 1 pence in issue.
