GUS PLC02 March 2005 GUS PLC: Transaction in Own Shares GUS PLC announces that it has today purchased through Merrill Lynch 500,000ordinary shares at a price of 931.6239 pence per share. The purchased shareswill all be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, GUS PLC holds14,125,000 ordinary shares as treasury shares.
