Matrix Income & Growth 2 VCT plc announces that on 8 October and 11 October 2010 it purchased 82,701 and 20,675 Ordinary Shares respectively at a price of 54.0 pence per share for cancellation.

Following this purchase there are now 26,358,228 Ordinary Shares of 1 pence in issue.
