Ferrexpo PLC - Transactions in Own Shares

Ferrexpo PLC announces that on 9 September 2008 it purchased 765,000 ordinary shares at an average price of 176.6983 pence per share. The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares.

Following the above purchase, Ferrexpo PLC holds 1,915,000 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 612,052,956 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).

Contrary to previous announcements, all shares repurchased under the current buyback programme are to be held in treasury rather than being cancelled.
