Matrix Income & Growth VCT plc announces that on 8 April 2011 it purchased 452,608 of the Company's own Ordinary Shares at a price of 86.78 pence per share for cancellation.

Following this purchase there are now 43,352,619 Ordinary Shares of 1 pence in issue.
