("Athol" or the "Company")

TERMINATION OF ACQUISITION

Further to the announcement dated 3 February 2012, the Board of Athol has been informed by the board of Ronaldsway Private Equity plc ("Ronaldsway") that it no longer wishes to pursue the disposal of the Ronaldsway share portfolio to Athol.

The board of Ronaldsway offered to sell part of the portfolio but this was not acceptable to Athol and thus discussions between the two companies have been terminated forthwith.

Athol will only purchase assets offering material scope for capital growth as it seeks to grow its Funds Under Management. It continues to seek value elsewhere and will keep shareholders informed of progress.
