The Board of Mitchells & Butlers plc (the "Company") announces that Stewart Gilliland has today been appointed Senior Independent Director of the Board of the Company, such appointment being with immediate effect. Mr Gilliland joined the Board on 23 May 2013 as an independent Non-Executive Director.
