AVINGTRANS PLC (THE "COMPANY") RESULT OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND THE EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING
Avingtrans plc is pleased to announce that all resolutions proposed to shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting and the Extraordinary General Meeting held earlier today were duly passed.
As a result, the placing announced on 17 September 2008, raising approximately ‚£3.5 million before expenses, has now been completed, subject to admission of the placing shares to trading on AIM.
Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the placing shares, consisting of 7,000,000 ordinary shares, to be admitted to trading on AIM. Admission of such ordinary shares is expected to occur on 17 October 2008 whereupon there will be 24,630,577 ordinary shares of 5 pence each in issue.
