London 5 September 2014: Motive Television plc announces that its 100% owned subsidiary, Motive Television Services Limited ("Motive Services"), has signed a Renewal Agreement with Reti Televisive Italiane S.p.A. ("Mediaset) to continue to provide support and other technology services for the maintenance and delivery of the Head End Solution. This agreement will ensure the continuity of Motive's Content Express™ platform within the Mediaset Premium Service for another year.

The terms of the Renewal Agreement are in line with the support and maintenance agreement which was announced by the Company on 7 October 2013.

In addition, Motive has agreed to provide Mediaset a demonstration of the Company's Tablet TV technology for evaluation by Mediaset executive and commercial management regarding a launch in Italy

The Premium Play on-demand broadcast service, which offers a selection of over 50 current hit movies per month, plus TV series and documentaries in standard, high definition, and 3D over terrestrial DTT transmission has proven very popular since launch in December 2009. Leonard M Fertig, CEO of Motive Television plc, commented, "Mediaset was Motive's first major deployment of the platform nearly five years ago and we are pleased with its reliable and successful performance, which was a key requirement of Mediaset. Our relationship with Italy's premier media company and one of Europe's largest broadcasters remains strong and we are looking forward to providing Mediaset with new products and features."

Eugenio Pettazzi, Chief Technology Officer, of Mediaset Premium, said "We are pleased to renew this support contract with Motive and look forward to evaluating Tablet TV. Motive has been a reliable and responsive technology partner for Mediaset."
