Andes Shares to be listed on Buenos Aires Stock Exchange 

The Board of Andes (AIM: AEN), the Latin American energy group, is pleased to announce that, following approval by the Comisión Nacional de Valores in Argentina, its shares are now authorized for trading on the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange, subject to certain formalities, which are expected to be completed shortly.

The Company will publish a prospectus which will be made available in accordance with the regulations of the Comisión Nacional de Valores. An official English translation of the prospectus will also be available from the Company's website at www.andesenergiaplc.com.ar in due course.

Luis Alvarez Poli, Chief Executive Officer of Andes, commented "We are pleased to report that the Andes shares will soon be traded on the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange in Argentina.
