Dart Group PLC03 January 2007 3 January 2006 Dart Group PLC ("the Company") Significant shareholding The Company received notification on 27 December 2006 that Schroders plc has aninterest in an aggregate of 21,081,156 ordinary shares in the Company, which areheld in portfolios managed on a discretionary basis for clients under investmentmanagement agreements with Schroder Investment Management Limited and itsassociates and subsidiaries. This holding represents 14.99% of the issued sharecapital of the Company. The notification also discloses the British Coal Staff Superannuation Scheme asbeing the registered owners of 4,656,188 ordinary shares in the Company and theMineworkers' Pension Scheme as being the registered owners of 5,356,188 ordinaryshares in the Company.
