TyraTech Announces first patent granted for its Extend™ Technology

TyraTech Inc (AIM: TYR and TYRU), a life sciences company focusing on natural pest control and healthcare products, has received notification that its Extend™ patent has been granted in South Africa. The patent proves the proprietary nature of the Company's technology platform and protects a broad range of synergistic combinations of natural and synthetic compounds, which can be used against a variety of target pests. The patent has a 20-year term, which expires in March 2029.

Bruno Jactel, CEO, said: "These patents are important to demonstrate the synergy between our blends and synthetic compounds and that we are uniquely able to improve the efficacy while reducing the environmental footprint of synthetic pesticides. This will support both the strategy of ENVANCE Technologies, our joint venture with AMVAC Chemical Corporation and our animal health strategy."
