Northern Venture Trust PLC28 April 2005 For immediate release on 28 April 2005Northern Venture Trust PLC (the "Company") Extension of offer The Company announces that the current offer for subscription (the "Offer") forthe 2005/06 tax year has been extended from its original closing date of todayand will now close at 3.00pm on Monday 20 June 2005, unless fully subscribed atan earlier date or unless the board elects to close the issue earlier. As at the close of business yesterday, applications had been received under theOffer for 307,069 ordinary shares at an issue price of 95p per share. A further1,472,469 ordinary shares remain available under the Offer for subscription atan issue price of 95p per share, based on the Company's most recently announcednet asset value per share of 90.1p, as at 28 February 2005. The Company will be announcing its interim results for the six months ended 31March 2005 during the first half of May, which will contain the net asset valueper share of the Company as at 31 March 2005.
