Tanfield Group PLC28 April 2008 THE TANFIELD GROUP PLC ('Tanfield' or 'the Company') Exercise of Share Options The Company also announces that pursuant to the terms of the Company's ShareOption Plan and Articles of Association of the Company, one Option Holder haselected to exercise Share Options in the amount of 100,000 Ordinary Shares ('theShares') of 1p each in the Company at a subscription price of 1p each. Application has been made for the Ordinary Shares, which will rank pari passuwith all existing ordinary shares, to be admitted to trading on AIM. Admissionis expected to occur on 29 April 2008.
