Northern Petroleum Plc ("Northern" or "the Company" (AIM: NOP)) Director's Shareholding

The Company has today been advised that Richard Latham, Chairman, on Friday transferred 56,750 ordinary shares from his personal holdings to his SIPP at a price of 70.5p per share, being the mid market price at start of business that day. Following this transaction Mr Latham's beneficial shareholding remains at 962,477 ordinary shares, which represents 1.01 per cent of the issued share capital of the Company.

Following this transaction, the Directors' total beneficial shareholdings remain at 3,513,461 ordinary shares, which represents 3.68 per cent of the enlarged issued share capital of the Company.
