Treasury Shares
Director/PDMR Shareholding
The Company announces that on 23 May 2008 it purchased 325,000 ordinary shares at a price of 24.5p per ordinary share to be held as Treasury Shares under the authority granted by shareholders at its last Annual General Meeting.
The Company also announces that on 23 May 2008 certain employees completed the exercise of share options over a total of 160,000 ordinary shares of which 90,000 were repurchased at 26p. The ordinary shares in respect of all of these options have been satisfied by way of transfer of the Company's holding of Treasury Shares. All of the share options are at an exercise price of 6p per ordinary share, all pursuant to the Company's Executive Share Option 'B' Scheme.
The Company now holds a total of 1,663,118 ordinary shares as Treasury Shares out of a total issued share capital of 24,793,190. The Total Voting Rights of the Company are now 23,130,172 ordinary shares and this number should be used to determine any announceable holdings under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
