Volex plc (the "Company") announces that on the 17th June 2014 John Allkins, a non-executive director, purchased 87,500 Ordinary Shares of 25 pence in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), at a price of 80.05 pence per share, representing in total 0.13% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company.

Following this purchase, Mr Allkins will hold a total of 87,500 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.13% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company.

This announcement is made in accordance with the requirements of the FCA Disclosure and Transparency Rules 3.1.2 to 3.1.4.
