Akers Biosciences, Inc. ("Akers Biosciences" or the "Company") Change of Director

Akers Biosciences, Inc. which develops, manufactures, and supplies rapid, point of care screening and testing products, announces the resignation of Dr. Edward L. Wampold, a non-executive director of the Company. Dr. Wampold has decided that, following seventeen years as a non-executive director of the Company, now is the time to step down and his resignation will take effect immediately. The Board would like to thank Dr. Wampold for his contribution to the Company's development and to wish him well for the future.
