Theprogramme was to be executed in compliance with the provisions of the EuropeanCommission's Regulation No 2273/2003 of 22 December 2003, known as the SafeHarbour Regulation. The share buy-back commenced on 13 April 2015 and must have been completed by31 December 2015. Following the transactions in week 45 Sydbank's sharebuy-back totals DKK 500m and consequently the share buy-back programme isterminated today. The purpose of the share buy-back has been to reduce the share capital of theBank and at the next AGM in 2016 the Board of Directors will recommend that therepurchased shares be cancelled.
