Zotefoams PLC29 June 2007 29 June 2007 Zotefoams plc (the 'Company') Trading Update Zotefoams plc announces its trading update for the six months ending 30 June2007. In line with comments made in its AGM statement released on 10 May 2007, theCompany has experienced an encouraging start to the year with overall trading inthe first six months of the year in line with expectations despite a weaker USdollar. In Polyolefin foams, sales in the UK and continental European markets are aheadof the same period last year and showing encouraging growth while in NorthAmerica sales have declined in local currency due to lower levels of spending inconstruction and military sectors combined with a temporary decline in purchasesby a medical customer. In our emerging High-Performance Polymers segment sales have grown in excess of50% compared to the same period last year, mainly in the North Americanaerospace market and we are also working on a number of exciting projects in thepharmaceutical and semiconductor markets. Although the timing of theseopportunities is uncertain we continue to believe they will offer good futurepotential for the business. Overall the Board remains confident that the Company will continue to make goodprogress in 2007. The Company will announce its interim results on Tuesday 7 August 2007.
