New Appointments
Crosby Asset Management Inc. ("CAM") is pleased to announce the appointment of a new team to assist in the management, distribution and development of the Crosby Forsyth range of long-only and hybrid fund-of-funds products,
Tom McGrath, Steve Brann and Craig Wetton are joining as fund managers with overall responsibility for asset allocation and fund selection, and the strategic development of the non-hedge fund product range as a complement to Crosby's existing asset management businesses.
Tom and Steve will become co-Chief Investment Officers and will take an active role in asset allocation and the strategic management of the funds whilst Craig will assume responsibility for the development of a new offshore multi-manager, multi-asset product.
Tom and Steve are currently employed at Midas Capital Partners and will be joining CAM on September 22 and August 11 respectively. Craig is joining with immediate effect.
Jon Brokenshire and Ian Liddle are joining to work alongside Peter Wilson on sales distribution of the funds within the UK. Jon and Ian have extensive experience of distribution in the UK and their efforts will be complementary to those of our existing sales team led by Steve Coxshall. Both Jon and Ian will be joining us on September 22.
These appointments also coincide with the departure of the current Chief Investment Officer Peter Toogood. In September 2007, when CAM purchased the Forsyth business from the Administrator, Peter agreed to remain with the Company to help rebuild the business and ensure that it had a long-term future. Having achieved that goal Peter has decided that it is time to move on to pursue a career in a more focused, research-based role. He will remain with us until mid-September to complete the transition.
