ZENITH ANNOUNCES CHANGE OF AUDITOR
Calgary, Alberta, April 3, 2017, Zenith Energy Ltd. ("Zenith" or the "Company") (LSE: ZEN; TSX.V: ZEE), the dual listed international oil & gas production company, hereby announces that it has changed its auditors from MNP LLP (the "Former Auditors") to PKF Littlejohn LLP (the "Successor Auditors").
At the request of the Company, the Former Auditors resigned as auditors of the Company effective March 22, 2017 and the board of directors of the Company appointed the Successor Auditor as the Company's auditor effective March 22, 2017, until the next Annual Meeting of Shareholders of the Company.
There were no reservations in the Former Auditor's audit reports for the period commencing at the beginning of Zenith's two most recent financial years and ending at the date of the resignation of the Former Auditor. There are no "reportable events" (as that term is defined in National Instrument 51-102 - Continuous Disclosure Obligations) between the Company and the Former Auditor.
In accordance with National Instrument 51-102, the notice of change of auditor, together with the required letters from the former auditor and the successor auditor, have been reviewed by the board of directors and filed on SEDAR.
