("Zaim" the "Company" or the "Group")
Suspension
Zaim Credit Systems plc (the 'Group' or 'Zaim'), the fintech group, announces it has requested the suspension of the listing in its shares pending an investigation into the control of Zaim Express LLC ('Zaim Express'). The Directors have been made aware of a discrepancy with regard to the ownership of the share capital and is experiencing a lack of effective operating control over Zaim Express.
Zaim is in the process of exploring options to investigate the facts surrounding this discrepancy including engaging legal advisers to pursue a remedy.
The Company will update the market upon conclusion of the investigation in due course. In the meantime, the Company has requested the suspension of the listing in the Company's ordinary shares on the Standard Segment of the Official List, and trading on the London Stock Exchange's Main Market has been suspended with effect from 7.30 am on the 28 September 2022, pending clarification of the control of Zaim Express.
