FY20 full year results announcement timing

Following the recent joint regulatory guidance from the FCA, the FRC and the PRA regarding reporting timeframes in the current environment, Whitbread confirms that it will delay the announcement of its FY20 full year results, originally planned for the end of April, until the end of May or start of June. This will also ensure that the Company and its auditors have adequate time to complete their standard procedures given the current working restrictions. A planned date will be confirmed in due course.
As announced on 24 March 2020, the financial performance for the year ended 27 February 2020 is expected to be in-line with expectations.
