Further company update

Wren the property development group and specialist retirement home developer of Extra Care facilities announces the following update.

It was announced on 9th of March 2011, that a CVA meeting was to be held on Friday 11th of March 2011 to consider, and if felt appropriate, to pass the shareholders and creditors resolutions to be proposed at the meetings, as set out and contained in the CVA Proposals posted to all shareholders and creditors on Tuesday 22nd of February 2011 by Antony Batty & Co ('Antony Batty').

As a result of a request received on Thursday afternoon the 10th of March, from advisers to the Royal Bank of Scotland Plc ('RBS'), the Company's bankers, to postpone the CVA meeting, it was agreed with the CVA Administrator, for the directors of Wren to hold meetings with RBS and then to reconvene the CVA Meeting as soon as possible thereafter.

The meeting with RBS's advisers was held on Monday 14th of March with directors of Wren and Antony Batty, and whilst the RBS representative indicated that he wished to reach a mutually agreeable solution, given the Bank's reporting procedures, it would be at least a week before further discussions with the Wren Directors, Antony Batty and himself could take place.

As a result the CVA Meeting has been reconvened for Wednesday 23rd of March at the offices of Antony Batty & Co at 11.00am for Creditors and 11.30am for Members.
