Windar Photonics plc (AIM: WPHO), the technology group that has developed a cost efficient and innovative LiDAR wind sensor for use on electricity generating wind turbines, is pleased to announce that Paul Hodges will join the Board of Windar as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

Paul Hodges has extensive business and listed company experience gained from a career spanning 40 years having first joined Laurie Milbank as an insurance analyst in 1981. Following a number of roles at financial institutions including, Shroders and Collins Stewart, Paul was a founder shareholder of Cenkos Securities and is a former director of Cenkos Securities.

At the same time, Søren Høffer will step down from the Board of Windar with immediate effect. Søren has served as a Non-Executive Director of the Company for three years and has contributed to the development of Windar through a challenging period in the Company's history.
