("REG" or the "Group" or the "Company")
Employee Share Option Plan (the "Plan")
REG (AIM: RWE), the developer, owner and operator of renewable energy projects, announces that on 26 November 2009, options were granted pursuant to the Plan to Andrew Whalley, the Chief Executive Officer of the Company and to David Crockford, the Finance Director of the Company.
Mr Whalley has been awarded options over 250,000 ordinary shares of 10p each ("Ordinary Shares") and Mr Crockford has been awarded options over 150,000 Ordinary Shares, all at an exercise price of 65.5p, being the closing market price on the 25 November 2009. The options will become exercisable from the third anniversary of the date of grant subject to continued employment and the satisfaction of a total shareholder return performance condition. Following the grant, Mr Whalley holds options over 500,000 Ordinary Shares and Mr Crockford holds options over 250,000 Ordinary Shares.
