Correction RE: Board Appointment

The Company's announcement of earlier today (29 February 2016) stated that J Carey was currently a director of 90 Ladbroke Grove Limited; this company should have been included with the directorships held in the previous five years.

All other details contained in the announcement remain unchanged.

Board Appointment

WH Ireland Group PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Jonathan Hugh David Carey (aged 65) as a Non-Executive Director of the Company, with immediate effect. Jonathan has held senior positions at Jupiter Fund Management, including that of Group Executive Deputy Chairman. He is currently a Non-Executive Director of JP Morgan Overseas Investment Trust PLC and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.

Richard Killingbeck, Chief Executive Officer commented "We are delighted to welcome Jonathan to the Board. He brings with him a wealth of considerable corporate experience having worked in the asset and fund management industries for over 25 years."
